Love freebirds we’ve been going here for years but this location has the worst customer service of any location we’ve experienced. First time coming here and used door dash to pick up and deliver to us uptown. They forgot the drink we paid for and order was completely made wrong missing more than 3 obvious ingredients it was gross, dry and went right into the trash. While online with door dash about it we called the store to let them know about the error my wife was bounced to three different people. Finally the “manager” Chris got on the line to blame it all on door dash telling us if we want a refund we have to deal with them. Not once did we ever mention the word refund to anyone we were actually going to have it remade and figured they would atlease recognize their mistake so it’s made right. Not once did Chris say what can I do to fix this and apparently from what he stated with his nasty attitude and lack of empathy it’s door dash’s responsibility to make sure the order is correct. I’m assuming door dash is suppose to open up my burrito bowl and check the ingredients? Sounds logic. Last time I checked all they do is pick up the order when it’s “ready” and not make customer’s drinks and check their meal. That’s freebirds job it really shouldn’t be hard to read a clear box checked order and put it in a bowl. As a manager Chris shouldn’t be tending to customers with such poor resolutions, customer satisfaction for something they are paying for should always be number one. Thanks to door dash for the refund and a missed craving for a hungry pregnant woman we wouldn’t dare spend another dime with...
Read moreI am a big fan of Freebirds and always have been since college. Unfortunately this location's service is horrible, especially if you order online. The last couple of times I've placed an online order here mid afternoon after the lunch rush (2 pm or later), I've showed up 5 minutes or so after the order is supposed to be ready, and instead of a bag of food ready to go, they haven't even started on he order. When I go to pick up the order, it seems like they forget there's an online oder system and they'll start to print tickets for the other 2 or 3 orders waiting (usually with alerts that they're past being old). They always blame a rush that just happened to start right when my order came in (and they gesture to the two occupied tables and 4 people in line) but if I give them another 10 minutes or so they'll have it ready This would put the food ready 15+ minutes late and 25+ minutes since the online order was placed specifically to avoid waiting. I follow this up with a request to cancel an order THAT THEY HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED (i. e. No food is being thrown out) and the employee let's out an exasperated sigh like I'm asking them to run barefoot in the parking lot during summer. There are other places to get a quick bite from that actually leverage their online...
Read moreI love Freebirds burritos but when I went here it was 45 minutes before close and they were well into "shutdown" for some reason. All the cooking was shut down and the food items were being put away. I was still able to order everything I wanted, it was still hot, no worries there. But it made for a very slow process as only one person was manning the line and he was going more slowly than anyone I'd ever seen. Again, I got my food, it was great, no complaints. Just glad I wasn't in a hurry that night. I have something against any place that advertises a close time and then reduces the service level 45 minutes or an hour ahead of that time to begin shutdown and cleanup. Those things should be handled after close.
Other than that, the only complaint would be the brownie was awful. Not up to normal standards. Tasted funny. Thrown away after one bite. The burrito was amazing and I'll be going back for sure. Tip: order the ancho dressing from the salad section as a topping for a burrito. Great with...
