About a month or two ago, I went to this Jimmy Johnâs location and had my first frustrating experience. I specifically asked for the extra big sandwich, and while I know the employee heard me, he clearly didnât want to be bothered and gave me a regular size instead. Thankfully, I wasnât charged for the bigger one â but my boyfriend was upset because he was expecting a big sandwich and didnât get it. I shouldâve checked, so that was on me, but still, that shouldnât happen.
Fast forward to about a week ago â went again. Yes, the sandwiches are good (but honestly, itâs not that hard to make a good sandwich). Iâm now at the point where Iâd rather drive a little farther to another Jimmy Johnâs, Subway, McAlisterâs, or literally any other sandwich place â this location just isnât worth the hassle.
Then today was my last straw. The first time I visited, my card worked fine. But the last two visits â once with my little brother, and now today â my card wouldnât go through here for some reason (and no, thereâs nothing wrong with my account). No matter if I swipe, insert, or use my wallet app â it just doesnât work at this location. I had to awkwardly call my boyfriend again to send me money. And when I told the guy that this had happened before, he didnât seem to care at all.
Speaking of the guy running this place (owner or manager â not sure), he has the worst energy Iâve ever seen in a fast food place. He looks like he hates being there, and it rubs off on the whole vibe of the place. Iâm not being openly disrespected, but the attitude and lack of customer service is enough to make me not want to return.
To top it off â when he handed me my sandwich today (which I obviously ordered to-go), he didnât even ask if it was for here or to-go. Just wrapped it up, handed it to me with one napkin â and no bag, even though I also bought a cookie. I donât think itâs too much to expect a bag when Iâm carrying food out the door.
Meanwhile, Cowboy Chicken next door is packed â I might just go there next time. If management at this Jimmy Johnâs doesnât change their attitude and care more about customer service, this location is only going to keep going downhill.

   Read moreI don't recommend this location for delivery. I've ordered delivery on various occasions over the past 4 or so years, each time hoping that my experience might be better than the last, but the service has been consistently poor. Here's a few experiences that lead me to this rating:
Even though I live in an apartment complex 3 minutes away (no joke) from this location, I've never received an order in less than 30 minutes.
Out of first few times that I ordered delivery, I believe only once did someone find my apartment without calling me first because they were lost. Admittedly, my particular apartment/building can be tricky to find, so I'm understanding - it happens. The problem is, I've used various food delivery services from other restaurants/vendors, and with rare exception, they are able to find my apartment without issue. JJ's consistently having this issue when others don't is frustrating.
My most recent experience has sealed the deal for me regarding my perspective on their delivery service. I made an order around lunch time, and received notification that my order had been delivered about 45 minutes after placing the order, but nothing was left on my doorstep. I called the store, and the driver (who picked up the phone) insisted that he had left the order at my door. After a bit of back and forth, it finally occurred to him that he dropped the order off at the wrong apartment/building - on the complete opposite side of the complex from where mine is. Fortunately, he was quick to issue me a refund, but still a very frustrating experience.
I've visited this store a couple of times in-person, and they were fine. When delivery is a main component of your business, though, and in particular you try to differentiate yourself through "Freaky Fast" delivery, you're setting your standards for your service high.    Read moreI stopped by Jimmy Johnâs for lunch the other day, and I have to say, I was beyond impressed. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how exceptionally clean and well-kept the restaurant was. Itâs rare to walk into a fast-casual spot and feel like the cleanliness is a top priority, but this location absolutely nailed it.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. They didnât rush my order or make me feel like I was just another customer in line. Instead, they took the time to offer recommendations on how I could customize my sandwich, and I decided to go with their suggestion because, quite frankly, it sounded deliciousâand it was! Itâs refreshing to see employees who actually care about the experience theyâre providing rather than just getting people in and out as fast as possible.
Before heading back to work, I stopped in the restroom, and that was the cherry on top. It was spotlessâsomething you donât see often in most restaurants. The attention to detail, from the dining area to the restrooms, speaks volumes about the pride the staff takes in maintaining the place.
Overall, my experience at this Jimmy Johnâs was top-notch. The combination of exceptional cleanliness, outstanding customer service, and great food makes this a location Iâll absolutely be returning to.
