Read moreMy eldest son's in-laws treated me 2 PF Changs for my birthday dinner. We shared egg drop for an appetizer and I asked the waiter for some crunchy noodles. Our very charismatic and attentive waiter brought a huge bowl of crunchy noodles and set them in front of me and said he wanted to make sure the birthday girl had enough crunchy noodles! Of course I shared! Then we shared a California sushi roll, chicken lo mein that had plenty of huge tender chunks of chicken in it and Mongolian beef which was a good kind of spicy but not too spicy that I could not eat ( I could eat wasabi on everything, but I don't do the spicy chili thing very well! LOL). We also enjoyed mango tea, which for our liking did need some sweetening, but it had a nice light flavor. Then to my surprise he brought out a lovely individual decadent deep dark chocolate cheesecake in a small round container with a candle on it! My friends and he sang Happy Birthday! Brian brought out the tray that held the other types of cheesecake that could be ordered and my friends ordered a blueberry one and a coconut strawberry. We were all very full and the cheesecakes were just enough to be that something sweet at the end of the meal, but they didn't make you feel like you were going to pop your buttons! LOL. Brian remembered everything we asked for, bringing us extra glasses of tea and refilling our coffee for dessert. If you go 2 PF Changs With Friends, I definitely recommend ordering two or three dishes and sharing so that everyone can try something different. Even the California roll was so fresh you could definitely tell the difference between it and what you can buy wrapped up at say Kroger's. PS. If Brian is working when you go, try to get him for your waiter. You won't...
Read moreWe have been wanting to dine there for a minute, usually the traffic and crowds kept us away. However it is close to our Spine Specialist, so we decided it was time to down there again. We had only ordered takeout from one of the delivery services that my daughter's house in Lakewood. In order to save my wife from having to walk too far we paid the valet parking, which was a little after tip just to dine for about 30 minutes. If you haven't been there it is a nice atmosphere . Our waitress was very professional and helpful with my questions about different entrees. We ordered pork egg rolls as an appetizer and they were average, not any different than anywhere else that we've dined or Frozen. I ordered the Kung Pao shrimp which was excellent. I like a lot of shrimp and they did not disappoint me. My wife had the ginger chicken with broccoli. I had the fried rice and she had the lo mein noodles. Both we're season perfectly and a little on the spicy side like we like it. Overall the food quality, taste is excellent. The portions were medium, and by that I mean we have a place near us that we often done with, and the portions are much larger and able to feed both of us if we wanted. I would say the only complaint I had and the reason I only gave it four stars instead of five is that the menu was very simple, not much variety or creativity, I like plates that feature combinations of entrees. I was kind of surprised because you can look on their website and see how much more diverse menu with more selection. We were able to get this out of our system and it is a great place, and certainly one of the better choices for...
