Pei Wei Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Dallas

UPDATE: I ordered from them again. Delivery was suspiciously fast. The food is still good, but the Mongolian Green Beans are a tad over-cooked and the tofu undercooked. It's still perfectly edible (and does taste good), but not what I would recommend for someone looking for good tofu. I had heard about inconsistencies at this location and I see them now.

Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with Tofu and a side of Mongolian Green Beans. After the delivery fee and tip, it came to $26.99, which is pretty average these days for delivery from a fast food joint. The only complaint I have is that I had to order on my phone. The Pei Wei website seems to not work on Firefox (at least, for me).

Mongolian Green Beans: cooked perfectly - just slightly crunchy and have the perfect amount of sauce, which is also delicious.

Tofu: Again, cooked perfectly. Tofu is not something I usually enjoy, but it can be good. Those of us who've tried to go Vegan will know the struggle. This is a great restaurant to try it.

Finally, the veggies that come as part of the Kung Pao are are still mostly crunchy (in a good way) and the white rice was made better than I make it at home with my...

Love, love, love this location!!! We had been going to another local Pei Wei location but didn’t go often since the food and service wasn’t super great (and had gone down over time). We happened across this new location recently when it first opened and couldn’t be more pleased!!! Melissa couldn’t be sweeter, more helpful, or more welcoming, and you can tell she truly cares and wants you to have a great experience. She has done whatever she can to make us happy every time we go in, and has gone above and beyond in so many ways which we have noticed and really appreciated, as little things like that make a huge difference to us. On top of that, the service is fast and we’ve had bigger servings every time we’ve come to this location than almost any other time we went to the other location. We are now coming to Pei Wei more than ever and will only come to this location. I hardly ever take the time to write reviews, but I jumped at the opportunity because of how great they’ve been. Save your money and take your business elsewhere! It's really sad how Pei Wei has rapidly declined over the past few years since Pei Wei was sold to PWD Acquisition LLC on June 5th, 2019! My wife and I ordered (from the take out /delivery only location on Greenville) Mongolian Beef and the Firecracker Chicken entrees. She brought them home and when we opened the styrofoam containers, I bet there was less than 3 oz of meat in each dish, but no shortage of rice! We used to frequent the sit-down location at Knox/Henderson but they closed that location, most likely due to the lack of business once the corporate execs at PWD Acquisition LLC decided to F*%@k the business model up! The portions are pathetic and they no longer have Hot & Sour Soup on the menu that was one of our favorite items to order! So very sad a once great restaurant concept is now a cheap embarrassment of the great establishment it used to be!
