I used to go to the location on Lemmon Ave in Dallas. It is now closed, so I go to the one on Central Expressway at Caruth Haven. I eat at Taco Bueno at least 2-3 times per week. There are some pluses and some minuses. Pros: The food is GREAT; it really is. Front counter service is very very good. There is a lady who has been there a couple of months who is so nice and attentive to the customers. My partner and I like going in when she is there. I can walk into the restaurant and know when she is working even before we see her at the counter. The restaurant is always clean; the salsa bar is clean; there are napkins and soda lids; we don’t have to ask for the basis when she is there. It is obvious that she cares for her customers but she only works in the evenings. It would be nice to see more people like her at the counter; actions speak far louder than words, and as a customer, she makes you feel important and that our patronage matters. She is the only one who does that.
Cons: The two biggest negatives are extremely slow service and rude shift managers. If you go to the restaurant during busy periods, EXPECT TO WAIT AT LEAST 20 MINUTES FOR YOUR FOOD; a 30 to 40 minute wait is not unheard of at this location. The managers are not only rude to the customers, they are very ugly to the crew members working for them. I have watch managers and shift managers belittle and curse crew members more times than I can count. I personally watched a shift manager make my order and she made it wrong. I told her as soon as she gave me my food it was wrong. She promptly turned to the front counter person and snapped her head off for the order being wrong. It wasn’t the counter persons fault; it was the shift manager’s fault, but the managers at this location do not own their mistakes; they blame the crew members for them. That is likely why there turn over at this...
Read moreThis place is open 24 hours. I go here from time to time after I get off work after midnight. There's always this same 40 something Hispanic guy working drive thru and he's always rude. I went there today around 1a and he was just as nasty as ever. Why be nice when he's gonna get paid the same $7.50 an hour if he's nasty? He never greets me when I come to the window, but he's quick to crab for my debit card and hands it back without saying a word and slams the window shut. It's not my fought he's 40 something and working the drive thru window on the graveyard shift. He may even be some kind of manger, because he wears a different type shirt than I see most employees working there wearing. When my food is ready he opens the window and swings my bag out and I grab it and he slams the window shut again without saying a word. Then I just sit there and he notices I'm just sitting there and comes back to the window and opens it without saying a word and I ask him for my receipt and he goes "what". I replied, "May I have my receipt please". He hands it to me and slams the window shut again. He acted as if I offended him by asking for my receipt. I'm sure it's company policy that he gives receipts to each customer, because they have a survey on it to where you can let them know how they are doing. I don't know if he just treats me rude for some unknown reason or if he's just as rude to everybody else that comes there to spend their money. If you're having the same problem with this dude, then I incourage you to make it known by posting a negative comment here, answering the survey on the receipt that most likely you have to ask for, and calling the corporate office to personally let them know how this clown is behaving with taco bueno'...
Read morePlace an order on UBER EATS about an hour and a half ago, waited 25 minutes, just to get a notification saying that you guys did not accept our order. I call your location and speak to young men and he tells me that you guys are having system issues and that our order did not go through and we have not been charged. We understand, systems go out and said okay so what do we do? He told me you guys were not accepting UBER EATS ORDERS and the young man me on hold, the entire time I was on hold I could hear him taking orders in the drive-through, I was on hold for about 15 minutes until my boyfriend finally said that he was going to drive over there. My boyfriend gets there only to be told our order is being delivered my boyfriend says he'll come inside and the young man's response is "oh we are closed" okay???? No solution for your customer? Doesn't suggest anything dor us to do? Doesn't explain what happened, so this paying customer who just drove all the way across town? This point, our put card is now charged, he's being told his order is on its way by the UBER EATS app and the young man is telling him the food isn't on the way. Lack of professionalism and total BS training for your staff with this application useage. So not only have we been waiting two hours, driven 15 mins there and back, we still didn't get dinner. We will never eat at this taco bell again. Awful service, rude to customers and rely wrong information as well. Shame on you and your staff. Retrain your staff, basic customer service skills and don't partner with an application if you aren't going to have an action plan if the system goes down and train your team efficiently. Get...
