In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Dallas

This is a fast food burger joint. I give them thumbs up for having good staff and for using fresh ingredients. However, beyond that this place is nothing special. The burgers are too small for my liking, but they are priced accordingly. The fries, which are prepared fresh, are mediocre tasting..ie most other fast food chains have better fries.

This particular visit I decided to get everything animal style. Everyone raves about this but it isn't on the menu. You can get your burger animal-style for free but there is a charge to get your fries animal style. I ordered the double double animal style. It was fine. I really don't have anything negative or positive to say about it. I also ordered the fries animal style. To me this tasted borderline disgusting. It was right on the edge between "ok" and "vomit." I didn't like that at all and will never order it again. I was going to compare it to the Ghost Pepper Fries at Wendy's but there really is no comparison. The Ghost Pepper fries are 100 times better.

Service was slow, just like whataburger but it's possible the car in front of me simply ordered a ton of food.

I just do not get it..... I have eaten at In-N-Out Burger a dozen or more times and different locations including Irving, Downtown Ft. Worth, Arlington and Dallas and I just can not figure this place out. Every time I have left unsatisfied, every time! The Burger is completely bland and tasteless, the sandwich spread is completely over powering and even it is lacking in good flavor. The veggies do seem to be quite fresh which is a plus but is there actual meat on it I don't know I've had to check multiple times, its like air. The fries... the fries... the fries... they liberally call them fries! It is amazing how disappointing they are! I worked a roach coach with better fries and they were fresh cut and seasoned by ME at the time and were worlds ahead of the soggy, limp-d* cold fries they serve here. Now the service is impeccable always a friendly smile wonderful experiences every time. Sorry I'm not sorry but Whataburger, Jack in the Box, Wendys are so much better then In-N-Out. The burgers were great! The fries were nasty! No salt and cold! They left out our grilled cheese, and the lady at the window did not believe me. So I gave her the bag back and she said, "Oh, I guess it is not in there " I asked for an xlarge waterbecause I did not want a soda and she couldn't figure out how to ring it up, so she did not want to give it to me. I told her just take a $1. Surely it can't be more than that if you are telling me a large is a quarter. I even told her just charge me for 2 larges. She just could not do that because of inventory or some baloney like that. I just felt like it was definitely not ran like the other In n Out restaurants I have been to throughout the Country. We were very disappointed in our service. Oh and they did not give us combo prices, they charged us full price for each item, when it should have been 7 combos, I think that would have saved me some money, but when I told them, they say it is all the same. We won't be back unless it is an in n out burger in California!
