Hey "TONY"(Owner) I just wanted to now that you might want to train your staff a little better on the old saying, "The CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT) SO HEAR ME OUT... This is what happened! I called in an order and wanted to add a specific sauce to my entree because obviously it was lacking flavor to me (but i was still willing to give you the business instead of ASIAN MINT which is way down the road on 75, which I may add they cooke their item that I was requested the way I wanted) and so while ordering over the phone, I was TOLD from the person who was taking my order for the 2nd time I have called that "I WOULDN'T LIKE my food that I requested COOKED THAT WAY"... IT WOULD'NT TASTE RIGHT IF I DID THAT or made changes!!!! MY first questions to the staff who knows my taste buds is how do they know what I like? I mean, what gives them the right to tell me that I should like or not like for something that I am paying for with my money which I am trying to give to your restaurant? I mean, think about it, for example, If you make a great spring roll withOUT cilantro and I hate cilantro, don't tell me that If wouldn't taste good with out it! Moving forward, PLEASE educate your staff on taking the request without making it a big deal! THAT'S JUST PLAIN RUDE!! I MEAN DAMN THAT PUT ME IN A VERY BAD MOOD AND TO BE HONSET WITH YOU, IT'S WORTH DRIVING TO ASIAN MINT WITHOUT BEING TOLD THAT IT WOULDN'T TASTE RIGHT WITH MY REQUEST...What if you are at your slowest time that week and I call and want a meal a certain way without rearranging the order completely, are you going to say no and lose that customers who wants to do business with you on that slow Day? smh Most people go to restaurants for customers service, then food. Please...

But, several highly unusual situations make for a bad overall experience.
This store closes at 10pm. I showed up at 9:34pm for food, but was told the kitchen just closed at 9:30. Was told to go to another location 3 miles away. Not a huge deal, but they may want to be more clear that food will not be available past 9:30pm.
A day later, my family ordered food. After calling, the store answered indicating they were "Taco Bell." I guess that was a light hearted joke, kind of funny to answer the phone as Taco Bell...I guess? But after picking up our food, they proceeded to get 70% of our order wrong. The joke didn't seem as funny
After calling the store and explaining our situation, we were told we could come back for the correct order. As we were about to leave, they called back asking us to bring our original incorrect order. Why? That seems highly unusual, especially considering they were able to verify over the phone that we did in fact PAY for an incorrect order; they saw the transaction in their POS system. I would hope they do not resell orders that are brought back to the store from customers. Assuming that was not their intent, what is the point in "verifying" our order by physically seeing it, after you've already verified it in your POS system?
Mistakes happen, and we will likely still contribute business to this store. But our recent experiences at this location have unfortunately been very...
Read moreThis is a cute little spot. They have a chalkboard with nice drawings of Thai and Lao motifs, they play chill hipster music like you would find on 91.7, and it’s a no fuss counter serve. The menu is largely Thai, but There are some also staples. After all since they are bordering countries many dishes and staples blend together much like the cuisines of Texas and Mexico.
They have the basics like Pad Kee Mao and various colored curries. Their best deal is the Lao Platter where you get to pick your protein (garlic chicken wings is what I pick, but I’m sure pork eaters would appreciate the Lao sausage), and it comes with green papaya salad, raw cabbage and sticky rice. The wings were hot and crispy and had crunchy garlic on top. The a papaya salad is where it gets interesting. You can pick Thai or Lao style. Lao salad is not for the faint of heart. It’s similar to Thai salad but they add crab paste, giving it an extra layer of umami and pungent taste. I loved it, and it is heavier and more savory then regular Thai papaya salad. I forgot the name but their Lao Chicken noodle soup is also great. Overall it’s a nice little spot, the only downsides were the appetizers weren’t all that great but everything else made up for it. It’s a good spot to try for a intro to Thai or Lao cuisine since they have a streamlined, but efficient menu. I will...
