Came here with a friend to try out their Happy Hour but the experience was not good. First, there is street parking and garage parking (1st level only) for you to choose from. Also, starting at 5PM they offer valet parking. We were able to find parking easily enough.
When I arrived at the restaurant only a handful of customers were there and I was seated immediately as I waited on my guest. I decided to order a wine from the HH and a slice of pizza (meat). The wine came very quickly but the slice did not. After my guest arrived, she ordered her items, and then we waited. 35 minutes go by and still no slice of pizza (even though others were receiving theirs). When I inquired about the pizza, the manager came over and said that it was “lost in transit but will be brought right out.” I was also advised that the slice would not be on my ticket (but it was there). My slice came out.. finally! The pizza itself was a Spicy Italian Sausage and it was ok. Definitely not worth the 30+ wait for it.
I ordered another wine, a house salad, and make your own pizza (red onions, mushrooms, and sausage). By this time, my guest’s pizza had came out and she was enjoying it. When my pizza did come out it was boxed up although we were still seated and eating. We decided to leave since the experience was terrible. In the midst of the server putting my friend’s pizza in the box, it splattered all over the table! We ended up having to wait another 30+ mins for another pizza. We paid (left a tips as well) and left.
Overall, I wouldn’t return here even if it wasn’t happy hour. The customer service was bad and food lackluster. The only photo I took, due to frustration, was the to-go box of my...
Read moreOoof. That was a rough experience. We had reservations for Sunday night at 645. When we got there, it was fairly busy, but we were immediately led to our table. It took a little over 10min to even get greeted. We ordered a round of drinks and 2 appetizers. Drinks and apps were a little slow coming out, but it was busy, so slightly expected. The apps were fine, minus the absurd amount of grease. Which wouldn't have been such a problem, had we been served with silverware or at least napkins. Instead, we sat there with greasy hands till one of us went and found a server. Drinks were great. At about 730 we decided to place our dinner order, 3 pizzas. This is where things took a turn. Service became nonexistent. We had to hunt down our server multiple times. By 815, we still had no food, and had to go ask for a manager. By 830, still hadn't seen management, but at least 1 of the pizzas came. Finally at 845, management came to the table to see what the problem was. (The other 2 still hadn't been served dinner.) We left at 9pm with Togo boxes. I understand being busy.. but if I have a reservation at 6:45, I don't expect to be eating my meal at 9:00. Had we been told from the beginning, the kitchen was backed up and food was going to take a while, we would've immediately ordered. The communication was absolutely terrible. Once management (Jarrett) did make it over to our table, he apologized and took care of the meal. Which was much appreciated. Also should be noted the noise level was a bit loud and annoying as this spot is located directly next to 'Elephant East.' East tends to play loud techo/house music. Was such an odd vibe for a...
Read moreMy wife and I came in from a couple of hours out of town and were really looking forward to some pizza by the slice after a concert to cap off a fantastic evening. At about 10:30 pm, may 9 2025, we ordered a slice of the donkey, a slice of Margherita, and a slice of the spinach artichoke pizza. We received a slice of the donkey, 2 slices of chicken bacon ranch, and 2 slices of some sort of barbecue brisket pizza (see photo). That’s ok, mistakes happen! I walked back up to the counter and showed the server that I got 5 slices instead of 3 and 4/5 were not my order. She told me it was in fact correct and that was what I ordered. Totally stunned, I returned back to my table to decide whether this was worth messing with the vibes of date night or not, but we really did not want a big pile of chicken and brisket at now almost 10:45 pm. So, I went back and rang the little bell. When I rang it, I heard the server audibly say “what now” which didn’t really feel great. When she got to me, I explained that this is obviously a chicken bacon ranch pizza, and that the pizzas we ordered were vegetarian, and that there wasn’t any spinach or artichoke to be found on my slices, and that the margherita pizza was missing. She looked me dead in the eye, pointed at the chicken bacon ranch and said “no, this is a margherita pizza, I confirmed with the cook.” I was honestly stunned, and we left to avoid a confrontation. Needless to say I will never be returning. There are lots of good pizza places in the area, and I would highly advise going to them instead, lest the vibes of your date night also be ruined by...
