If you are only looking for caneles then you will find great disappointment in it. Their caneles are neither crusty outside nor spongy inside. You can see from the cut their caneles are just totally gooey inside which are like those failure examples in any french pastry recipe book. I know it’s hard to find a bakery selling those lovely treats but don’t let them lower your standards. Update: I ordered another round of caneles recently because I wanted give it another chance. Yet I am hugely disappointed again. From the second picture you can see the inside are half gooey and half empty, which is considered as a failed canele and should give customer a refund. A person with baking experience can tell it’s mostly due to insufficient oven temperature, lack of baking time or dough not mixed well before sending into the oven. I know caneles are difficult to make, and that’s what makes it come with higher prices than other pastry, but if you can’t provide customers what meets the quality standards, either change your recipe or don’t sell it anymore.

I walked in for my first time and was greeted but while looking around was never asked if I needed help or had any questions. The 2 staff members continued their personal conversation the entire time I was there which I find to be very unprofessional. Even while I am placing my order they continued their conversation and continued to do so all the way until I left. Although service was polite and smiling it wasn't personal and appeared to give little attention to the customer. I bought a ham and cheese baguette and it definitely needed more butter. I couldn't even taste it. The sandwiches are pre made and in my opinion this decreases the quality and freshness of the sandwich. I wouldn't get this again. I purchased a Chocolate kouign amann and this was divine. It was buttered perfectly, the chocolate was spot on and the pastry was flaky and very fresh. Absolutely loved it. Finally I bought a raspberry financier and this was also excellent. It was very soft and moist and the fruit tasted fresh.

Gave this place a try on a Sunday afternoon and have been regretting my decision for the next 24 hours. I ordered two slices of quiche, two eclair's, two palmieres, a Kouign Amman, and a. Laminated brioche. Everything was terrible. None of the pastries were fully cooked. The palmieres or entirely covered in sugar and there was zero glaze. The eclairs tasted as if they were frozen. The choux had zero rise and the feeling was flavorless and almost non-existent. The laminated brioche and the Kouign Ammon were both undercooked as well. The worst part was the quiche. The egg in the moose was severely undercooked and had the texture of a moose. When I took a bite, it almost melted in my mouth in some weird ooze. Not sure how they have so many good reviews. I will definitely not recommend them and will definitely not be going back there or to any other restaurant that uses their bread.

This isn't the place you want to go, I asked for a senior citizen discount the reaction was like I asked them to part the red sea So I walked out the door and went down the street to look for a better place I found myself passing their front door business going in the other direction when some man flew out of the door getting my attention

He said did you take a sandwich, I said no I didn't take anything He said again I was told that you took a sandwich, I told him no I did not take anything I've never been to this side of town before He pulled his shirt down he informed me that I am to respect that business I repeated myself saying that I didn't take anything from anywhere I've never been to that side of town He repeated himself and walked away As he was walking away I let him know they were going to get a bad review

I was accused of theft It doesn't matter how exceptional a business is they don't have the right to accuse a customer of theft That was my first time ever on that side of town why would I ever want to go back

I did find another bakery it...
