Si Lom Thai Asian Fusion has been a dependable favorite for us, even with the 30-minute drive. Our previous visits were consistently delightful, to the point where we even found ourselves at the same table by coincidence. We always kick off our meal with the fresh rolls, either tofu or shrimp with the peanut butter sauce an absolute favorite of ours. The shrimp in a blanket was also a reliable choice, though we always circle back to the fresh rolls. In soups, we've tried both Tom Kha and Tom Yum, the Tom Kha always steals the show with its perfect balance of coconut milk, lemongrass, cilantro, mushroom, tomato, and spring onion. And in entrees Pad Kee Mow and Thai Basil Fried Rice were our go-to entrees, and we even enjoyed their hot sake on one occasion. Each time, we left feeling completely satisfied, knowing we'd be back. The friendly, warm staff and the beautifully decorated, clean facility showcasing Thai culture always added to the positive experience. However, our most recent visit was unfortunately a complete disappointment. Nothing tasted right. The fresh rolls and their usually perfect peanut butter sauce lacked their signature flavor. The Pad Kee Mow noodles and the Sriracha fried rice we tried were all missing complete flavor profile. It felt like a totally different kitchen, and we didn't enjoy a single bite. While the staff and ambiance remain excellent, the food quality on this last occasion was a stark contrast to our many cherished past...
Read moreThe service! I am a regular that eats here often on Friday nights and also have recommended to friends. However, after my experience on Friday, October, 3, 2025 my family nor my friends will ever be back. My husband, daughter and I had reservations for 7:45pm. The service was a bit slower than normal but didn't think too much about. Our daughter is two years old and we frequent the restaurant so much that she knows the waiter and they always have cute playful exchanges. Our toddler on this particular night was a bit noisy but nothing unusual from a toddler at a restaurant. After paying for our food the older lady that's is the hostess and owner stops me and says, I've received several complaints regarding your child's noise level and it's my job to say something to you. I responded with, you have a choice and the choice you made is very inappropriate and insensitive. This is a restaurant and it comes with the territory when you go out to eat. Besides that, she didn't know if my child had a disability, feeling ill or anything of that nature. Very unprofessional and prejudice. In my opinion. As the hostess you apologize to patrons that may have an issue but it all comes with dining in. For example, if there was a large party and they are loud and obnoxious or a kid crying because they are tired of waiting on the food. Its the price you pay when you choose to dine in. I didn't not agree with her actions and...
Read moreHow in the world have I not written a review for our hands down, go to, comfort meal, delicious favorite restaurant. Si Lom has the tastiest Thai beef Jeremy on the planet! What’s Thai beef jerky you ask? Let me tell you it’s a marinated beef that is then sliced very thin. The marinade helps in a type of curing process and then they fry it for just a second. It comes out steaming hot with the best Sriracha dipping sauce around. The musamum curry is so good we drink whatever sauce is remaining. It’s sweet with spicy and the chicken is always so tender. The pad Thai extra basically everything on it, because extra is always good with pad Thai, has never made it home in a to go box. I always finish it. The Tom Yum soup is spicy and tangy and is a must for the cold weather. This is our Favorite place. The employees welcome us by name when we dine in and know who we are and our order when we call for delivery. The customer service here is one that should be modeled after for a lot of restaurants out there. They have a great happy hour menu as well. Mmmm yummy! Si Lom deserves all the stars. Will post pictures at...
