At 4:30pm on September 7th I walked into this Wendy's to eat lunch. I noticed they remodeled and had a key pad on their restrooms. No problem so I thought. I went to the counter told them I'm about to place an order but need to wash my hands and use the restroom first. They employee pointed to the sink to his left told me to wash my hands there. I told him I need to use restroom too. He got the manager and the manager said no you must place an order first. I explained to him that I need to wash my hands and use the restroom. He also pointed to the sink. I asked for the corporate office number and he said it's Wendy's. I said thanks and left. For one I was in my work uniform with the logo. A fortune 500 company that is known world wide. I'm not a homeless person obviously, that is trying to take a shower in Wendy's bathroom. I did restaurant management for 10 years and I would never tell a customer that yet alone allow a employee to tell them this. I'm sorry Wendy's but us blue collar workers use the restroom and wash our hands before we order. Your employees and manager should NEVER tell a paying customer to order first or point to a sink next the register to wash their hands. Huge disappointment. I will never be back to this location and I guarantee nobody I work with will either. I will do more research to find corporates number to inform them of the way this manager and employee treat there guest. Congratulations Wendy's. You did not just lose one guest but 200+ of us that eat...
Read moreBe careful when using the Wendys App!! I wanted to upload money but only for the amount of my order. I clicked on "other" thinking i would be able to manually enter the amount i wanted but instead it loaded $25. There was no confirmation screen for me to even realize that i was loading it for $25 until it went through. Also, the employees do not know how to process app orders including the manager. We sat there for 20 min waiting on our order. Since the app tricked me on uploading the card for $25 I decided make another other. I got out of the line bc we had ppl waiting already for a long time and tried to make another order on the app to use the remainder balance I was tricked into uploading. I don't know why it wouldn't let me and what I did to be able to make my second order. We went in line again and it was the same thing. Now they are telling me that the orders were not paid. They did not ask to look at the app to show us that it was not paid. On my end I am showing them that is it. All we ordered is a small frosty. I asked them to please figure that out on their own time but I showed them that it was paid and it was just for a small frosty. They had us waiting a long time with our previous order and the least that can be done is just give us the frosty. But no, again, they had us waiting 10 min and they refused to give...
Read moreHamburger patty was undercooked by my standards. Even though they made me another one, Wendy's hamburgers just aren't very good anymore. They taste like they are undercooked, and coated with shortening that has not melted yet. I miss the days when the fries were cooked in BEEF TALLOW, also referred to as animal shortening. For spending $9 for a single quarter pound patty hamburger, fries, and a drink, and the quality I got made it a TERRIBLE VALUE! Also, the employee at the front counter behaved in an unprofessional manner, and I overheard him talking with a Co worker, laughing, and saying the "F" WORD. I will leave it to you all to figure out what was said. At least the manager came and visited my table and asked if the re made hamburger was alright, and it was as good as can be made with the current procedures and equipment. The grill that cooks the meat on both sides at once results in meat that does not taste as good as meat cooked on a grill and flipped over manually, like Dave Thomas liked it to be. The fries were probably dropped while they were frozen, since I got mostly fries that were 1 inch long and shorter! The fries tasted dirty since the oil was past its usefulness, and fries looked a little darker in color. Teach the staff how to run the store and...
