Wendy's — Restaurant in Dallas

I’m usually not one to review a fast food restaurant, but this was a special case. If this Wendy’s wasn’t within walking distance of my office, I would never go here. The dining area itself is just poorly kept messy everywhere you go. Nearly every square inch of the drink station is gross and sticky. 60% of the time they don’t even have ice. Even when they aren’t busy, they will hand you a cup and watch as you try to get ice just for you to come back and ask them to get you ice from their drive thru drink machine. They rarely clean the tables. The dining room could be entirely empty and there might be one or 2 clean tables that you can eat on. The restaurant is about a 5 minute walking distance from a homeless camp under DNT. The dining area usually has homeless individuals or entire families just hanging out in the dining area disturbing actual paying customers. One time, there were 2 small children with parents no where to be found, just running around the dining area IPad in hand just making all kinds of noises. Another time there was a homeless person trying to steal food and walking around the dining area begging paying customers for food. Another time there was a homeless person in there shouting random gibberish to people as they walked by. If I go, I inhale my food because of how uncomfortable it makes me feel to be in there. The ONLY reason I’m giving it 2 stars and not 1 is because of the elderly gentleman that is always working there and he by far works harder and provides better customer service than anyone else that works there. Everyone else is rude. The lady that takes carders during lunch is mono-tone and moves at a snails pace. I’ve even gone one time and got laughed at because I somewhat regular the place due to how easy it is to grab a quick bite here while I’m on my lunch break. I would have to say hands down this is the worst Wendy's in the whole world. When you place an order at drive through because your on your way home. To get home and one of the 4 for 4 orders and the extra order of fries for my chili was not there. To call and speak with an hispanic lady that apologizes and says to come back, to drive 20 minutes back to use more gas to get my other meal, to get there and the people to act like we didn't just call and for the so called shift leader Sonya to turn my husband away and not honor ehat we had paid and to call again before he could leave without his meal and Sonya tells me she cannot and will not give him his meal because they lied and said I did not even call. First off I am a territory manager and that was handled very unprofessional. Terrible team of employees that do not represent Wendy's well at all. Sonya was the worst. How could she lead any shift. I will never reccommend this location to anyone. Wow, I just knew since we paid and did not recieve our whole order and called regarding, it would not be a problem. I talked to them first over the phone and asked why they keep doing this??? We spend $30 every time .They act like they did not know who he was and it was another Wendy’s . When he just left their store inside . She said she will refund our money plus make the food over cause this happens all the time. When we got there Tom is at the front being a bully and disrespectful. We come here and give this Wendy’s business 3 times a week or more for months. Several times they are rolling their eyes. Speaking in Spanish in a disrespectful tone of voice. My son is a teenager and they treat him very disrespectful especially when they mess up the order. Today was the last straw Tom especially should not be in customer service. He screamed at me and my son. He then accuse my son of not paying cash and refuse the refund. Insisting he paid with a visa . Which he do not. When he finally realized he is wrong .Tom never apologized for his wrongdoing. If you are black I would not recommend this Wendy’s. Very discriminating and disrespectful. I work in service industry as well. This is not ok!!! I need to talk to corporate or whoever is over this store...
