We arrived at a busy (but not hectic) time. A sweet older gentleman was working the lobby, helping customers with a smile, assisting with showing how to work the self help kiosk and wonderful personality. We were third in line with about four others waiting for their already placed orders. The cashier was helping a customer who brought back his order as something was not right. By the time it was our turn to order a second customer had come forth with a problem with his order and a third received his on a tray but told the employee he had ordered it to go. My husband and I have both have worked in fast food, restaurants and customer service. We always approach with kindness and extra patience. I placed the order which included an egg & cheese biscuit and medium coffee as well as a child's meal with a child's soft drink along with several other items. My husband stayed to get the order while I took my daughter to the restroom. When I got to the table there was no coffee so I headed back to the counter and stood in line to get it. The employee said "You said medium coke". When I got back to the table I saw that there was no cup for the child's meal. There was a medium cup so I chalked it up to the fact that maybe they had run out of small cups...didn't want to go to the counter and add to the employee's already stresful morning so I used the cup. My daughter never finishes the small coke so I filled it up 1/2 way. Back at the table, we discovered that the egg was missing from the biscuit. I went back to the counter and waited in line and with a kind attitude explained that the egg was missing. Rather than a polite smile...she grabbed it from me and said as she was walking away from me "you said biscuit add cheese." She handed it to me and I was about to ask for condiments for the coffee but she looked at the next customer behind me and asked them for their order. The customer said "she is still talking" but the employee then addresses another customer to my left instead. I know that I had already had a couple of issues but I had been kind, polite, even understanding. I didn't complain, I didn't correct her when she said I ordered it wrong, I didn't ask for a manager....and I was not the only customer with problems. So I found the sweet gentlemen in the lobby and asked if he could help me get some creamers and sugar. He did so with a smile. I hate to give a negative review. I have worked in places like this. The front cashier has to represent the back of the house. If another employee messes up, the front of the house has to answer it and take responsibility. I knew this, and also felt bad in the beginning of the whole situation. I try to keep in mind: maybe she is new, maybe she had a mean customer, maybe her dog died. I didn't expect an apology, just a pleasant attitude. I can see where I might have said it wrong once...but twice? And not just me but three customers before me. No manager stepped in. No smiles. There were no coffee condiments out for customers to help themselves. The ketchup dispenser was low and had gnats all over it. There was a red bucket that looks like it may have been used to fill up the tea canister sitting on the counter at the soft drink station...and it had liquid in it with more gnats flying over it. I always try to leave good reviews...as you never know what could happen as a result, someone could get fired for just having a bad day. And most of it I could have overlooked. But the blatant YOU ARE WRONG both times and then ignoring me when I came to her with a smile and no complaint....just asking for the coffee and the egg THAT I ORDERED. On top of all of this...we didn't get the child's small cup that came with her meal. The medium cup that I thought was for her... was the medium coke given rather than the medium coke that I apparently said wrong. By the way...see my POSITIVE and glowing review left from a few days prior at a different McDonalds at the beginning of our trip on...
Read moreYOU'RE GOING TO WANT TO READ THIS! THIS GETS WORSE AS YOU READ ON... Only 2 tables were sat at by customers. Not a long drive thru, maybe 3 cars at any given time BUT read all this because you'll not want to go there!!! One family in front of me at the register yet cashier couldn't get anything right so we stood there 5 full minutes before I could order...I considered leaving. Once ordered (ONLY ORDERED A SINGLE CUP OF COFFEE) I waited & timed this part because I'm traveling 6 hr drive & watching the time, I waited 17 minutes, SEVENTEEN, to get 1 cup of coffee!!! All they wanted to do was fill drive thru orders. Female manager was oblivious then turned & asked if I needed help, as though I had just walked up for ketchup or something! In a forward, sorta angry tone but not loud I said, "Yes I'd like to have my 1 cup of coffee I ordered 22 minutes ago!" She didn't act surprised nor did she offer an apology-just simply poured a cup & handed to me. I said, "If you look at the order and obviously everyone has been failing to do, you'll see I ordered it with cream & sugar." She turned to the monitor then added the cream & sugar & handed it to me, again no apology! BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE... After all that, the coffee must have been siting there since supper or earlier. This was just after 10pm. It was bitter. NOW HERE'S EVEN MORE... The reason I was inside not drive -thru was to use the restroom too. I have never found any McDonald's restroom to be dirty but the trash overflowed into the floor, all stalls were disgusting, 1 of the 2 sinks was stopped up with gobs of wet paper towels. The paper towel dispenser was stuck/jammed up therefore papertowels wouldn't come out AND the air dryer didnt work so I, had to dry my hands on my shirt! There were 2 soap dispensers and both were empty! YEP, THERE'S MORE! Speaking of dirty, during the 22 min. I stood at the counter waiting for ONE CUP OF COFFEE I was appalled how many flies were on the counter & buzzing around. The family in line ordering before me had to complain that the employee put out their tray with fries while waiting on burgers and not only were their fries cold before they got the rest of their food, the man had to keep shooing the flies off his fries!!! I wouldnt go to THAT McDonald's again if they gave me a free meal! That was at Walnut Street exit off I-75 ...in...
Read moreI showed up at 11:40 at night the line looked long so knew there was going to be a wait. I pulled in from the side road so the right line was my best choice. We sat there for about 5 mins then one car on the right went. Then I wait for 10 mins one more car went on right now keep in mind the left lane went 3 times to our once. Ok now it's my time I pull up and say hello nothing then I said helllooo I was told to wait a min so I did. The left lane moved up so a new person arrived to the speaker. The same lady said hello how can I help you. I lost it it is 20 mins at this point so I said into the speaker I know you did not tell me to wait then go to the left lane. A second or too later she responded no my manger is the one taking orders so I was like ok. Then they took the order in the left lane they went up they took another order in left lane they went up now here is the last car in the left lane she took it. I then rudely said into the speak you can take my order now the left lane has no more cars in it. The car that was behind me this whole time was laughing at my response. I lost it when she asked me what I want I said not a d&&& thing I'm sure I said more before I drove off. I have never ever had mcdonalds treat me like that I was floored. I drove right over to Burger King and got my food. I tried 5 times to call the McDonald's to talk to a manger so he can let me know why I sat there 25 mins but no answer so I will try again in the morning and make a call...
