I’d like to start by sharing that I am not a critical individual and always try to look at the positive side of things. Unfortunately my experience at My Cafe was anything but positive. I came here to work for a few hours on a Monday afternoon. Before I ordered anything, I wanted to make sure they had Wi-Fi and I had full intention of getting coffee and lunch. The first thing the rude lady behind the counter said was that I better have a big order if I was planning on spending a long time there using their Wi-Fi. I got a coffee and sandwich totaling about $15. About an hour later, I ordered a croissant. Mind you I had already spent $20 in the first hour alone and thought it wouldn’t be a problem to continue working for another hour or so. 30 minutes later the same lady came up to me and told me I should probably order another coffee soon. At this point, I was the only customer in the shop so I wasn’t taking up space or anything. I immediately packed up my things and left.
These people don’t know what customer service is. The food and coffee was okay but my entire experience was disappointing. Don’t bother visiting if you want to spend longer than 30 minutes unless you enjoy being harassed about ordering more items from their...
Read moreYour response to my post below is that you're a coffee shop not a workspace. Is that why you have outlets covered with tape? But you provide free Wi-Fi because you want customers to stay and drink their coffee and hopefully spend more money. But because I wanted to sit for an hour or so. Work on my computer spend money, as long as they dont have to plug a device in. Well, obviously customers aren't staying and spending more money. In fact, the place was completely empty. And every time i've driven by, it's always the same. Maybe you should make the environment a little more friendly. So, people stay a little bit longer. Oh, and maybe have somebody working there. That speaks at least a little bit of english. Good luck staying in business.
Original post: I work remotely and spend a lot of time in different coffee shops throughout the week. The tables are 1 person & very small, so I put 2 together and was told I can't do that. I then tried to plug my laptop in and every outlet had tape over it. The woman working there spoke very little English with a bad attitude. I through my coffee in the garbage and left. It's no wonder why there wasn't a person in the...
Read moreVisited this place to do some homework and have a nice brunch. It was very chill here, mostly empty. We were the only two people here which I enjoyed since I had business to take care of so I need the silence. The parking was pretty confusing. The gentleman working there told me that they had private parking for the cafe but i had to park far away and walk far. So you don’t have to struggle like me, there are two parking spots in the parking garage for the cafe. The food was delicious, I had the Italian sandwich it tasted very fresh. I also had the açaí bowl which was kinda liquid but even then the flavor was good. You could tell that this wasn’t some commercial açaí, instead they made it with the fruits that that they had in the kitchen. The matcha was perfect, it’s usually hard to find a good match since they either add too much or too little of the powder but this one was just right. The only complaint I have is the the WIFI. It was terrible, it would work well for a few minutes then it would crash and it wouldn’t work. This was continuous for about 3 hours so beware if you’re coming...
