Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Danville

Update: Completely remodeled. But, the crew is having a full blown rap concert. So loud couldn't even order at the counter. Fish way over cooked. What happened in 2 months is bizarre. The owner needs to FIRE this whole crew. This is Danville for you. The workers couldn't care less about their jobs. The restaurant was dirty and just couldn't believe it.

This is a run-down shack. Pull up to drive-thru and they don't even try to take your order. Sat there for 10 minutes, there was one car in the drive-thru besides us, and the girl at the window just looked at us like "WHAT?" when we pulled through to leave.There's no lights on anything so it looks closed down. It probably should be. It's so old and just gross looking on the outside. The speaker box is duct taped. The sign isn't lit up. At night the menu doesn't even have lights to see what you're ordering. Very rude people who work there that don't care about you or the establishment. Used to enjoy eating here, but the employees ruined that.

Whoever owns this place needs to really take stock. Your employees suck and the outisde of your establishment is shocking compared to what it used to be. Never going to TRY to eat here again....

On Saturday August 19th I visited the location on 133 Piney Forest Road Danville, VA. The experience I had was very dissatisfying. I normally visit this location with my family, but on this day I just stopped in for a cup of water. The cashier rings me up and I pay her what was due. She then brought me over a paper cup. Before receiving it I ask if I could have my water in one of the styrofoam cups as I was walking and knew that the styrofoam would keep my water cold during my walk. She then looks to her manager and asks if she could use one of the styrofoam cups. The manager replies telling her no. Then I proceeded to ask if I could pay for the styrofoam cup. She again replied saying no. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t understand especially since I’m offering to pay for the cup. It’s literally a cup of water. And the service from both the cashier and manager on duty was very disgusting. I would love to continue to visit this location as it the only Long John Silver’s in my small town. Nevertheless if the service doesn’t improve I would much rather take my...

This has got to be the worst. LJ please train your associates. I ordered the fish and shrimp and the fish and chicken dinners. First of all please understand your customers are paying for their food so therefore they are expecting their food to be edible. We should not have to send an order back immediately upon receiving it because it's cold. ( Was terrible even after redoing greasy and redipped ) And what makes it worse is the manager is cooking and preparing the orders. The young lady taking the orders is very rude rolling her eyes and unprofessional taking your order. While we were dining, there was a commotion at the register we thought it was an upset customer turns out it was two employees using profanity between one another. The associates are more attentative to each other than with their customers .Terrible experience at this restaurant. Wanted to give it a no star but unfortunately you can not post unless you give a star . Will not be back. By the way thanks LJ for the up all night...
