Great local hipster dive bar. Friendly bartenders and generous pours coupled with a game show on the TV that everyone at the bar was participating in made for an enjoyable few drinks. Kitschy decor, impressive whisky selection, great music, mid century modern furniture, a huge outdoor area, AND Far Side comics on the actual bar top. Perfect been there forever dive bar styling, frankly super thoughtful and masterfully executed. Drinks were top notch, service was very welcoming without being obsequious. The vintage seating area, conversation level music volume, photo booth, and popcorn machine was inspired. Can have food brought out from Armored Gardens next door if you're peckish, great people watching patio vibes plus dog friendly. I am sitting in a ski lodge in New Hampshire on a beautiful snowy evening and for some reason, I can't get out of my head the wonderful time my wife and I had at this bar during a rainstorm on the return leg of a 2020 Midwestern roadtrip. The drinks were amazing, staff personable, and the atmosphere unique. My only regret is not having a greater social media presence that would cause more folks to gravitate to this place.
