Golly, bud.. I liked this place after the first time I visited, now I have even more respect for them, and their operation.
SCENE: I ordered Burber To-go, and while I waited, I enjoyed some whiskey. There was an error and I received the wrong type of burger.
So I call and after explaining the problem, I had to convince the (very kind, and genuine) woman on the phone, that a voucher for almost 2 times my whole bill was just too much. I wasnāt upset about the mixup at all and even still, they made a serious effort to make the issue pale in comparison to their gesture to make it right.
The whole issue was instead of a burger on bun I got a burger on a GRILLED CHEESE⦠(profound menu item I must say.) However, as I take my sustenance intake seriously, (having lost almost 100 lbs in a year) a bacon burger is pushing it far enough. so, unfortunately, the GRILLEDCHEEMSBURBER was a no go for me. Iām Sure it tasted fantastic tho. simple mistake, impressive effort to make it right.
Great place, great service, and fantastic food. 5 stars. Big recommend. Much appreciate. All love, favorite place in QCA (so far, I guess.)
As a redneck recently moved from rural Pennsylvania, this place gives me a comfy--not āhomelikeā vibe PER SEābut definitely the closest vibe Iāve found in this area TO back home.
No Iāve not been paid to write this, and no I donāt have any form of stake in this business. this is the 3rd time Iāve even been there. Just offering credit, where...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will not be returning. I arrived with a service dog this evening and sat down. For about 20 minutes we were not acknowledged then when we finally had someone acknowledge us, we were illegally asked for service dog āpapersā. Per the ADA, which I tried to educate you on, you may only ask me two questions. 1. Is that a service animal? 2. What task(s) has the dog been trained to perform. I tried to show you ADA law cards and your response was not appropriate, as you swore at us as you replied. You clearly donāt know the ADA law and you really should. Thatās not how you treat customers. I wish my roommate had called the police. Maybe you would have learned. Deplorable behavior. I will be warning my friends with service dogs to avoid you, as you clearly donāt know basic service dog laws. And by requiring āpapersā youāve clearly actually allowed fake service dogs in before, thus breaking the health code. My service dog didnāt break any health codes but you must have in the past. Treat your customers with more respect and study the ADA law if you want to run a business. Thank you for the horrible anxiety attack you caused when I did...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCompletely disappointed. I witnessed the manager this evening arguing with a service dog owner. The owner knew the laws well. The dog was behaving as a service dog should. The manager swore at the pair and insisted they needed paperwork for the dog, which is illegal. Businesses may only ask if itās a service dog and what itās tasks are. Makes me wonder how many times heās actually let in fake service dogs if he thinks paperwork is something actually required. I feel horrible for the young man who was visibly shaken from the event and overheard him and his friend talking. He has an anxiety disorder and schizophrenia. Anxiety triggers schizophrenic episodes for him. Horrible to witness. They wanted to call the police and were threatened to banned if they did. That was not okay. Please learn your laws if youāre going to...
