A fabulous date spot. Charming atmosphere, Saturday dinner is a loud murmur you can talk over with a little attention or leaning in. Service was good. The food is cooked to order, so anticipate a little wait, but it's worth it. The greens are fresh and perfectly cooked - at the bottom of the dish, so you need to stir to mix them in. Everything was fresh and delicious. Google says $10-20/ person, but for dinner, it's $20-30 (more than we anticipated). My complaint to the Saturday-before-Easter chef was too much sugar, so if you're hungry enough to finish your meal, the flavor was good but it was too sweet with more sauce at the bottom (sweetness level about 1 part sugar to 2 parts water - no judgement if that is perfect for you, but for me and my kids, it was too much for a meal). This was very true for chicken lettuce wraps and lemonade, also for (Saigon?) salad. The drunken mama noodles were perfect, and just spicy enough to breathe better. Bao were like tortillas rather than buns, and two for $8 - messy to split among 4 people, but delicious.

Miss Phay's has the best Thai cuisine I've ever experienced. The atmosphere is so relaxing. You can tell the owner has put every ounce of their soul into creating an environment that is beautifully decorated. A menu full of meals and drinks that are delicious and crafted like an art. I'm normally a fast eater. Not at Miss Phay's. I close my eyes with each bite, taking the time to enjoy the flavors and the music. Last but not least, Miss Phay's staff provides the kindest customer service. I sat in my car waiting for the restaurant to open and saw 4 individuals walking down the ally together towards Miss Phay's smiling and laughing like old friends. Seeing them walk to work with a smile on their faces was really touching. ✨️

We got the bahn mi but the traditional isn’t what I thought it was. It ate like a deli sandwich but I was hoping for some marinated meat. So I’ll take the blame for that one. BUT this was still a 5 star meal! We also got the fried whole snapper (weekend only) and it was the best decision. It came with a sweet tamarind sauce or something and a herbaceous Thai chili sauce which was absolutely out of this world. It had a a Accoutrement of assorted basil and herbs. Divine!!! We also got the Red Pork Rice, came with crispy pork belly and a fried sweet sausage. Honestly, an easy perfect. Also the vibe was immaculate and had a pleasant ambiance.

The vibe here is amazing. The cafe is decorated really cute. It has a very modern feel. The bright colors make it feel very welcoming as well. It is also wheelchair accessable as far as a ramp to get into the building and inside to the second room as well. But parking is difficult as you have to park right on Brady and there are only a few parallel parking spots.

The menu is a code you can scan to pull it up on your phone online. They do also have paper menues if being tech savy isnt your thing. It is a decent sized menu for a cafe type setting. It offers Lao, Thai and a few Vietnamese dishes. As well as a bakery type case with a few specialty dessert items.

The food is good. It is presented well and although not huge portions, they are adequate. I would say this place is moderately expensive. It is similarlly priced to other Thai sit down restraunts in the area, maybe towards the higher end of that range. My kids loved the chicken fried rice which they split. It included a few specifically Asian vegetables like bok choy that they were familiar with as well as typical vegetables. I ordered Pad Thai and it was very tasty if a bit on the sweet side. My only real complaint was how the chicken in the Pad Thai was cut against the grain. It would have gone from good to amazing had it been cut differently. My wife ordered a spicy dish made with pork belly and really enjoyed it as well.

The cafe also offers coffee and tea drinks as well as some Asian alcohol items. The staff was friendly and invited us back again. It was a very pleasant place to have...

When I’m sick , I’ve always had a taste for pho . Especially the broth . I order the traditional pho through Grubhub . Now as far as my order being efficient and ready to be picked up by my Grubhub driver , that was great time ! I planned to share with my three year old as I usually do when we order pho .. the place I normally order from , they do not deliver is why I tried Miss Phay’s Cafe . Anyways , for $18 , the portion was horrible . Had maybe two pieces of steak . Very rubbery tasting meatballs . And pieces of brisket that were half chewy fat . I didn’t have the option to not have those crunchy sprouts with my noodles they were tossed in when I tossed my noodles in . There was just too much crunch in every bite for my liking . Usually when I’ve ordered pho from maybe three other places in Davenport , they’ve always given me everything on the side . Even the meat was on the side not even added yet . And a good portion too . Now I haven’t tried anything else from this place . But the pho was disappointing . I’ll stick with California Pho on Kimberly Rd until this place makes their portions a little bigger for the price . Trust me , I’ve had pho from every place around the Quad city area including traditional pho made in a Vietnamese home as my son is half Vietnamese it’s a very popular dish at his dads house . So I know what I’m talking about as far as pho goes . I was thinking it’d be great...

Went to place an order for dinner with coworkers before going back to work. I ordered food to go and waited about 45 minutes only to be told that there was confusion in the kitchen and that their printer paper had run out. I was patient, all of my coworkers got their food but one co-worker stayed to dine in and I asked if they could bring my order back to work. They agreed. Another 30 minutes went by and no food. They canceled my order, refunded me my money and I figured I’d go back after work because I was left with the craving, and everyone said it was delicious. After work I went back and it was 15 minutes to closing time. I heavily debated ordering because I didn’t want to be that guy, but I thought “the customer, right? Surely they’ll understand what happened”. I walked in and the bartender immediately recognized me. I asked if I could order again, they were hesitant in confirming and went to ask if they could make my food, knowing prior what had happened. The employee came back and told me that they had already closed the kitchen and that they wouldn’t be able to make me my food.

I tried to disregard the initial encounter because we’re human and things happen. Oh well, that’s life. VERY...
