We ate here a couple of years ago and even after 1.5 hours waiting to be seated, it was worth it, so we wanted to experience that same quality again. Sadly, this time was disappointing. It was Friday night, around 6:30 on the 4th of July weekend, but we found a parking spot (up front) immediately and then walked right in and got seated, inside, right by the glass view of the ocean, with no wait at all! We definitely noticed the difference, but didn’t take it for the warning it should have been. We ordered a dozen raw oysters (24.00) and a couple of their specialty drinks ($11 each). The oysters were tasty but small and not shucked very cleanly. A little mangled. The drinks weren’t even cold and were extremely sweet. My wife ordered fried grouper with creamed corn and bacon and a caesar salad. I had the hogfish snapper with fries and a house salad. The corn was not very fresh so it was chewy and not very sweet. We had to search long and hard to find the tiniest little bit of bacon. This was a “premium” side, so .99 extra. The salads were both premium as well. 2.99 for her caesar and 1.99 for my house. They were not impressive. At all… PLUS, they forgot to bring them before our main dishes! AND our main dishes came before we even finished the oysters!! Had to have been precooked and just reheated? Our fish portions were not impressive for $31 each, and the flavor wasn’t that great either. Mine was slightly fishy. Not bad enough to send back, but enough to make me wish I had ordered something else! Her grouper was just ok. Meanwhile, we had to make sure our drinks and plates were positioned on the table to avoid getting dripped on by the air conditioning vent overhead. It was dripping on a line(ish) across the table, in my lap and the back of my neck! Our server said they knew about the problem but didn’t have a solution. They could have, and SHOULD have, warned us about it BEFORE seating us there. The manager never came to apologize for the salad timing or the dripping. There was no adjustment (or offer to adjust) our bill. Finally, the water. Even with lemon in it, it was terrible. 3 stars is being generous but the view kept it from being 2 stars. As Gordon Ramsey is fond of saying “what a shame”! $146 total bill. We won’t be back.

Really looked forward to eating here. The atmosphere overlooking the beach was soothing and nice. I loved the outdoor set up they had however tables could be a bit bigger as it was enough to sit 4 people. Live entertainment was a very nice touch. Food wise quality was great! I had the stuffed flounder and it was a 10/10, however my sides could’ve been a bigger portion size, especially for the upcharge they have on it. Salad was just soaked in ceased dressing almost made it inedible. We ordered raw oysters for the table and out of the plethora of times I’ve ate oysters this was the first time they were dirty, touched them and my fingers got black, barnacles and shells on there like the caught it straight from the ocean. This was very odd and a bit of a turn off in my opinion. Service I would really like to note, our main waiter was not great at all. Barely could’ve found her when I’ve seen other waiters a plethora of times, keep in mind that the place was not busy at all. I’ve seen other parties my waiter were taking care of come and go while I was there. Kept looking to get her attention but she never looked my way. She could definitely be more educated on the menu. I showed her an item on the menu and she did not know what it was nor the fact that they made it. Main course came out and she did not check up on us till a while after. Would recommend the establishment to do some training. Hostess and the lady that sat us were very kind, quick to clean the table, and adequate!

This is our first time having lunch at this place. At first we got seated outside as the weather was beautiful, however, within minutes, we could feel some bites on my legs from the no-see-ums, which could be typical around some sandy areas in FL (no fault of the restaurant), so waitress quickly helped us move inside. We ordered clam chowder and Caesar salad for starters, both of which were good. For the main dish one of us got shrimp, ravioli, which had Andouille sausage (or some cajun flavor sausage). The presentation was not the best, but the flavor was definitely pretty good. I decided to splurged and got the lobster tail, along with mussels, calamari and grilled shrimp with sweet potato fries. Everything was pretty good, lobster tail was nice and fresh, shrimp grilled perfectly. Mussels were pretty much steamed with a little garlic sauce on the bottom. I couldn’t taste a lot of flavor as they weren’t really in the garlic sauce, but were still good. Fries were excellent. The service was pretty good throughout the entire meal, except at the end where the server would come several times to our table (bring boxes, take payment etc), but she wouldn’t remove the dirty plates in front of us, despite the fact they weren’t busy on Mon afternoon. Overall, we enjoyed the meal. With 2 beers and 1 mojito out total was $150+. I was debating whether to give it four stars or five, as typically 5 stars for me means exceptional experience all around. I’d say it is somewhere 4+.

I’ll start out with the good, the food was great when we finally got it after a long wait. We were missing sides that took so long they didn’t come out until after we were done eating The kitchen crew were the only good ones that night. Our server was horrible, it’s the only time I never left a tip ever. I used to work food service years ago, so I know how it can be. I let a lot of stuff go as “no big deal” whenever we eat out and I don’t complain because I’ve been on the other side. When we were finally done it took a while for our check to come. My wife and I got visa gift cards for wedding gifts that we like to use on things together like a dinner. We gave the cards to the waitress and waited and waited. The first one went through just fine, but the second one didnt for some reason. Almost 20 minutes later she comes up and says very loudly “IT SAYS SUSPECTED FRAUD!” pushing this paper in my face. She said it loudly enough to where I saw several people at other tables turn around and look at us, sitting there embarrassed feeling like a criminal. I made sure to say loudly back that these are gift cards from our wedding. We even pull up the app where you can check the balance and showed her. We decided to give her the other gift card to try, another 20 minutes go by and she comes up and says she’s going to get a manager because she doesn’t know what to do. I told her please get the manager because I’m done waiting here, she said “yeah I’m done with you too!” in a snippy voice. Mind you by this time we hadn’t complained to her about anything, and calmly showed her our balances, so there was no reason at all for her to act that way. The manager came by and said they can’t accept visa gift cards despite the first $100 card going through. He then said he was going to comp the remaining $18 of our order because of me telling him about being embarrassed and the waitress attitude. We could finally go, it took us 45 minutes to pay and leave once we finished eating, and about the same amount of time to get our food after we ordered. Overall we were there for over 2 hours. Reading other reviews I’m glad we took an uber there because so many customers cars have been towed from their lot and the restaurant takes no responsibility. Given the amount of time we were there I’m sure our car would’ve been gone by the time we finally got out of there. Sadly as someone who lives close by this is the first and last time I will come here which is a shame because the food was great. What I don’t appreciate it’s being embarrassed and treated like a criminal and having to sit there for another 20 minutes while people stare and talk about us. You don’t accuse your customers of fraud for using a gift card and you especially don’t say it loudly for so many...

My wife and I stopped by this establishment while out on a motorcycle ride. We were seated inside on the second floor. The first of only two interactions between the young waitress was very pleasant. We ordered only a few appetizers and a couple of drinks. The drinks arrived in a timely manner, but the food took literally a half an hour to come out. When the food did finally arrive it was cold, and no utensils were given. I waited for a reasonable period of time before getting up to ask the bartender to refill my drink and also for two forks. We finished eating and we're waiting for the waitress to come back with the bill so that we could pay and leave. We waited approximately another 15 minutes and nobody came back to the table. My wife and I got up and left, and my thoughts were let's see if they realize we're gone. The waitress did catch up to me in the parking lot as I was getting ready to leave. I told her that I was very disappointed. I explained to her that I had worked in the restaurant business for 5 years when I was around her age and I never left the table unattended the way she did. I asked her to get me the bill so that I could pay it. Her excuse was that she had a party of 13 and it was taking up her time. Therefore I guess our business was less important. She could have gotten another waitress to help us to make sure that we were taken care of if she was very busy but failed to do so. But I understand now the party of 13 was going to be a bigger tip at least she thought not knowing I was a former bartender in a restaurant then what I would have given her. She would have gotten a very generous tip from me.

To the response. I leaned into the young lady about her work ethic in the parking lot where I paid my bill. I do not want to see her terminated for the incident. I blame management. There should be a meeting held amongst the staff, and bring up this incident. Stress that all patrons and parties are equal and should be treated as such. Also maybe some education on teamwork. Teamwork was definitely lacking. I never saw any management during the hour we spent in the restaurant. The wait staff was very busy, and no management was seen assisting and directing under the circumstances. Management is just as...
