Dunkin' — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Went in to grab my wife a cappuccino at 8pm while she finished shopping to surprise her. Was told they can not serve me due to closing in an hour and they clean the machines. Went to another shop for her out of our way and they told me it takes 5 minutes to clean their machines. Asked my wife how long it takes to clean the one at her restaurant since it is possible they have a different kind and she said 15 minutes since it's the big one. I am not one of those people that go to a restaurant 30 minutes before closing, but not serving a customer 1 hour before closing is unreasonable. Clean the machine 30 minutes before closing would be more understandable to me or get the machine the other locations use, even the one at a restaurant might be better. If you turn customers away 1 hour before closing then close then. You are open till 9pm, serve till 9 pm. The worst Dunkin’ Donuts experience I’ve ever had. The service was ridiculously terrible. Waited at the cash register with zero acknowledgement from any staff member for about 15 minutes, and with a line of people behind us to the door. Finally ordered and had the girl making the drinks give me the wrong drink, so I then stood at the pick up counter for a few minutes while she pretended to not see me there waiting for help. I resorted to announcing to the open air that the one drink I ordered was wrong, because she refused to look at me. She then proceeded to get into a full on argument with me over it, causing a big scene…. will never go back here again. Worth also noting that their trash can was overflowing with garbage and nobody was tending to the lobby...

It's Dunkin donuts to me and it's in a nice location. The employee was very nice and she understood what I wanted. There was nice seating and music inside, the air conditioning was great and it smelled like a typical donut shop, very nice! It's part of an outdoor mall area and just outside the shop, there are these swinging benches and they are very relaxing. Unfortunately they were all taken up and so I just enjoyed the air conditioning inside of the shop waiting for the bench swings to open but they never did. They are super popular. However, I was with my family for once and just being grateful to be with them drinking some piping hot caffeinated beverages was good enough.
