Worth the read if you're looking for FAST. I'm giving ONE star because zero stars is not an option. I frequent this location as it is close to my work. Be warned this location is also next to a high school.... EXTREMELY BUSY DURING LUNCH TIME. With that being said, I obviously realize this BEFORE deciding to have lunch here each time. The experience I had on Tuesday Oct 11 was unacceptable. When I arrived at 12:08pm, I ordered from the kiosk as the "waiting area" to receive already placed orders was very crowded and it would have been difficult to order at the counter. I ordered a mcdouble bundle with no onions extra pickle and it comes with a small fry. My receipt printed out with time of 12:10pm. I proceed to find a table and wait for my receipt number to be called. 20 MINUTES later, I approached the counter and politely asked if my order would be ready soon as I have to return to work. The gentleman (no name tag) asked with frustration what was my order? As I began telling him my order, he walked away yelling to the kitchen asking for the cheeseburger special. I was TRYING hard to communicate that it's a mcdouble not a cheeseburger however, he and other staff (drive thru window) we're yelling "where's that no onion extra pickle cheeseburger". Then a manager lady, again no name tag, points to a bag on a cart where bags of finished orders and drinks wait to be handed to the customer. The gentleman grabs the bag and hands it to me. I ask for ketchup. He grabs the bag back and adds ketchup. I feel the fries and they are COLD. I ask for fresh fries. BIG MISTAKE!!!! HUGE. With attitude he proceeded to get me new fries. His coworker at the register says "Can't you see the lobby full of kids" I said "yes but that's no excuse for poor customer service"! As he was handing the bag back to me, I was already late getting back to work so I inadvertently took the bag a bit quick. The gentleman yells "Don't snatch from me, I didn't do that to you" I was already upset so I just turned around and walked out. I decided to call the store from my car in the parking lot and speak to the manager about this gentleman and his attitude. That was another HUGE mistake. Someone answered claiming to be a manager. I explained what happened. She said she would speak to the employee. Ok fine ... BYE.... but nope, I open the bag and my order was incorrect. I take my bag with receipt back inside and the MANAGER, CREW AND CUSTOMERS are discussing the phone call I just had with the manager. How is this ok? The manager should NOT discuss this with customers. The manager comes over, I explained that even after all that, my order is wrong and I ask for my money back. She proceeds with the return. I put the meal on my debit card but left my purse locked in my car so she shoves the $3 and change into my hands all at once and tells me to have a good day as I tell her I will not be returning to this location. I will travel over the bridge and go to the Nova/Granada location and hope the same manager/crew...
Read moreI am giving this review 2 stars because the young man at the register was as helpful as he could be. My first choice would be No Stars. I am sharing my experience with you the way it happened. I am not mentioning names because this is not a personal review. I am prefacing this review by saying; I realize many places are struggling with finding employees. Many managers are working ALOT And I know they are tired. This is NOT an Excuse or Permission to have a negative attitude with your customers. Today is Sunday, January 9th. This happened today. I was out running errands and decided McDonald's would be a good place to choose for lunch. I arrived at this location at a good time. Both the drive~thru and dining room were not very busy. I placed my order in person at the register. Two thirds of my prepared order was placed on the counter in front of me. I stood at the counter waiting patiently for the last third at Least 3 or more minutes. The young man at the register was now serving a growing line. The other employees were ignoring me completely. Then the manager and an employee walked over to the register area so I caught their attention and mentioned my order was incomplete. I asked which one was the manager and explained what items I was still waiting to receive. The manager was clearly Bothered by my information. She sighed deeply and went about gathering my last few items. It took another 5 minutes or more for her to return with my food and drink (Which, I learned later, was the WRONG Flavor drinkđ„€) By this time, the lady behind me received her order. Both she and I Had to Ask the manager for the condiments and straws. Which were begrudgingly dropped on the counter as if we had asked for something we shouldn't have. Again, the manager was Terribly Troubled that I was bothering her for such things. Yes, they are overworked. Yes, these are difficult times for Everyone. YES, I was Very Patient. I worked in the Service Industry for many Years. I made a point to treat Every Customer with a Smile, Respect and Kindness No Matter How I was Feeling or How Tired I was. It is Very Dissappointing to have this kind of poor experience. Thank You for taking Your Time to read my reviewđ Have a...
Read moreThis location has extremely poor management, and seems to always have poor management despite changing managers. A simple order can take an eternity. Staff is inefficient, at best. It's almost like they try to hire the worst people they can for this location. Napkins and ketchup are hidden behind the counter. Simple things. Some of the workers seem to be trying their best, but the operation is not working. They can't grasp the drive-thru plus the walk-ins concept. It's just too much for them. It seems each worker tries to stay away from the counter at all costs. The counter is like a "no-go" zone because they fear human interaction. This franchise owner really needs someone with experience to revamp the entire operation. The dining room is closed down sometimes without any explanation. Opening and closing times are erratic. Some customers don't understand the concept of headphones while watching videos on their phones. I could see this place becoming automated at some point, with no people, because the humans there can't do it. It's almost like the owner TRIED to find the worst possible management. There's no other explanation. There are a few workers there trying their best. But customers are getting quite angry at the wait times. McDonald's has been around a long time and it should be competently run, everywhere. It's baffling how they can be this...
