I have never been so disrespected as I was at this location. I went into this establishment to get taffy. Upon entering there were maybe 3 people in there a couple leaving and another lady at the register. Upon trying to get my taffy while trying to be respectful of those leaving because I have to use a mobility scooter a large crowd came in. I gathered my things and turned around to go to the register. This is where the problem lies. The young man with the blond hair 1. Doesn’t acknowledge I’m even at the counter. 2. The just stands there as those who are getting ice cream come toward me and the. Proceeds to tell the lady behind me he total I look at him as if he hadn’t already seen me there and I say I need to check out he was like we get customers by order. By order I mean as there before anyone and instead of him saying I can’t get the payment he then acts as if it’s a problem. Thank you to the brown headed young gentleman for taking my payment. Based upon my experience I would never say recommend this...
Read moreBest spot in Daytona to get fresh taffy, ice cream, chocolate covered apples n marshmallows, caramels, rock candy, gummies, and (our favorite) fudge in a variety of flavors. Something sweet for everyone! Bag-your-own loose gummies and wrapped taffy (you bag it-you buy it) by the pound or 1/2 pound. Always busy (usually at least 5 customers typically with kids in the store) so make sure you bring your extended patience 😉. The chocolate fudge and mint chocolate fudge are our recommended must-try.
Attached gift / tourist shop is made for people under 6 feet tall from the low hanging wind chimes that my 6 ft+ tall husband had to duck below. Entire store and candy shop is not mobility friendly so if you're a wheelchair user or have a mobility aid, you might have to send someone in to get your sweets for you.
This is our 2nd visit - and we'd come back for the fudge 😋 Nearby lot parking is $6 (pay by card at a station) with about a 2-5 minute walk to get to Zeno's...
Read moreIf you’re a zealous ice-cream-beach lover, Zeno’s sweet shop will definitely have you coming back for more, I know I will! From the moment you enter the shop, aromas of assorted salt water taffy and homemade ice-cream welcome you. This shop offers over 10 ice-cream flavors, all home made! I tried carrot cake flavored ice cream paired with Caramel Caribou. The ice-cream was milky, not too sweet and just the right consistency and texture. There were 3 employees who were all busy bodies, doing their best to make sure that everyone was being taken care of. One girl who was the cashier (unfortunately I can’t remember her name) was very enthusiastic and indulged in conversation with us about the taffy and butterscotch, she seems to enjoy working there, which made the experience even better— Happy workers, happy customers. I certainly left happy, and will be back again to visit this shop. Get some mimosa, creamsicle, or even passion fruit flavored taffy while...
