Burger Theory — Restaurant in Decatur

I went with my family on June 8. We were a party of 12. It took nearly 20 minutes to seat us which I was confused about because there were two to three occupied tables, with the remaining restaurant vacant except for the few people at the bar. I understand they had to rearrange tables to seat our party but the wait seemed excessive. I needed to use the bathroom and kept holding off fearing we would be seated shortly (as the restaurant was nearly empty) and drink orders would be taken. I gave up waiting... The hostess was very pleasant. The service was good till the end of the meal. The waitress was very nice and attentive up to that point so the last leg of this journey may have been a problem beyond her control. We waited over an hour to get our first round of food. It’s not completely unheard of to have meals for some members of a party to get their orders a few minutes before others in the group but this was excessive. Over the next ten minutes the remaining burgers trickled out of the kitchen. Roughly five minutes after the remaining burgers came out, the fries for those meals finally appeared. Half of the fries were salted beyond belief and the other half weren’t salted at all. My burger was ok but not great and lacked the tomatoes I had ordered with it. It was slightly thicker than a McDonald’s Cheeseburger but with less taste and a slightly better bun. At this point I wasn’t prepared to wait for however long it would take get the slices of tomato the burger was supposed to come with so I gave up. I was so hungry anyway I just needed to eat. A member of my party had ordered a stuffed burger. His came out raw which he discovered after taking a bite out of it. They took the raw burger back and returned surprisingly quickly with his replacement. Upon inspection he found they had simply taken the ingredients that the burger was supposed to be stuffed with and placed them between two cooked patties. Perhaps my missing tomatoes were in there. I don’t know. On the upside they did manage to send out cooked meat and comped his dish. We finished our meal and waited. Some of our party got up and went outside to take restless kids for a walk. And we waited. Some dishes were cleared and some were not. Roughly 20 minutes after half the table had gotten up and gone outside, the waitress apologized for the wait and said she would get the check. Another 10 minutes and we had the check. The waitress was very nice, apologized and explained they only had two cooks on duty. I absolutely would not return. McDonald’s has better food, faster service, and a quarter...

We had the weirdest experience we have ever had at a restaurant before. There were only about 8 total people in the entire establishment, all but us were just individuals at the bar. While the server was partially attentive, we waited 40 minutes for our draft beers, asked multiple times for water refills but were told there were no glasses, one beer was wrong and the waiter didnt know what beer was what, all four food orders were wrong, and every attempt to fix the orders were also incorrect. Nothing was ever handed to the right person so all four of us were trading this and that off of our plates and requesting things to be corrected. Not a single dish was ever removed from our table so when we left, there were well over 20 dishes from wrong orders all over the table. The food on the menu sounded really good, and probably would have been if it had been right and if the burgers hadnt been so undercooked despite asking how we wanted them cooked. I'm not sure what is going on there but it was almost like being an unknowing participant in a prank.

Let me start off with the wings were great!!! The service on the other hand was a different story.

Upon entering we were told that the drink special was half off bottles of wine. Someone came to the table and said "I'm going to get your drinks and your server will be with you shortly. We ordered a "half price bottle of moscato." When our server came back with the wine she informed us that they didn't have any cold bottle of moscato so these glasses were free until our bottle was cold.

Our bottle came and so did our wings. The server was attentive and pleasant until the bill came.

When the bill arrived it reflected a full priced bottle of wine. We questioned our server about it who then consulted with someone we didnt see; she returned and told us that "50% off bottles were yesterdays special, but you got 2 free glasses of wine so it's pretty much the same thing"

We bit our tongues and paid the bill while the server continued to justify the mistakes of...
