I ordered two pizzas online. Unfortunately since there was not a description or pictures of the pizzas I ordered the wrong pizza instead of the large thin crust pizza that I used to enjoy years ago before moving from the area.
I had someone to pick up the pizzas I ordered for an event. Much to my surprise, once I opened the pizza boxes, I saw that the toppings were stuck to the top of the cardboard box. I pulled the cheese which was firmly stuck to the cardboard hoping to salvage the pizza, but the cardboard was glued to the pizza toppings making the pizzas inedible.
I called and asked for a manager and was placed on an indefinite hold waiting for someone to pick up the phone.
After waiting a few minutes I called the restaurant again. I asked for a manager and was placed on hold again. A man then came to the phone talking fast and did not initially give his name. I had ask for the manager’s name. Due to loud noise,I had to ask for his name multiple times. The manager who I will refer to as ‘S’ was very defensive and talking over me.
I explained what happened with the pizzas and that they should not have pressed the lid down on the box with such force that the toppings came off of the pizzas. ‘S’ said, “well you did it.”. I had to ask the person who picked up my pizzas what happened. She explained that that she asked for tape to secure the box which was not closing and ‘S’ pressed the lids down on the pizza boxes and taped them.
Well ‘S’ who thought I picked up the pizzas I ordered again said “you did it.” He claimed I pressed the lid down and secured the box with tape. I am astounded which how easily people can not be truthful.
Firstly, their website should have a description of the item and/or a picture. Secondly wax paper which they have, should be used to cover pizza especially where the box is too small and cannot be closed without taping.
I have to jump through hoops to hopefully get a refund. It is not about the money, but the experience of being told lies, blamed, and how the manager disregarded me as a customer.
After I asked ‘S’ if they had cameras at their checkout counter and he confirmed. I advised they can go back and watch the footage. ‘S’ replied that he had a lot of customers and had to go.
I have not eaten at Felini’s in years and decided to purchase pizzas for a family gathering. After this experience, I cannot patronize this...
Read moreupdate*. Still not as good as it could be, sometimes the staff is inattentive to any customizations, and you still can make changes on the website to order so you MUST go in, Quality and portion size fluctuates wildly.
This used to be my go-to pizza place but I'm rethinking my patronage because the food quantity as well as quality has gone way down and they don't let you call in an order anymore.
Yes, you can order online but there's no way to ask for anything to be customized - more on that later, let's deal with the quantity/quality issue now.
It's gone really down hill. I ordered a salad and not only did they screw up the order, I got considerably less salad than ever before - part of what I got was something that I would never even consider serving at home let alone sending it out with a paying customer - days old lettuce. The romaine was not fresh and had apparently gotten "brown" in places but that doesn't happen with fresh lettuce, only with days old lettuce (see pictures.) There wasn't a speck of iceberg in my "romaine and iceberg mixed" salad either.
Now, on to quantity - you used to be able to count on getting large slices of pizza from Fellini's... No more, apparently. I ordered two slices and they both fit into a small size pizza box... What a disappointment (see pictures.)
Now, on to being forced to order via online ordering. I don't blame any restaurant for trying to streamline their business, but when it's done in a half a**ed way, it's frustrating and not customer friendly. For example, they put gobs of cheese on the salads, some people like it that way, I do not. So, when I called in my orders I was able to ask for the cheese on the side (they give it to you in a dressing container) and that way I can control how much, if any, cheese I want on my salad. Sadly, that's not an option that's available on their website. You will take it as they serve it and like it (!)- I guess.
Well, I don't like it and if I want things done to my liking (or if I had allergies) then I have to go there and order it in person and then waste my time waiting for it instead of being able to order from the convenience of my home and then going to pick it up. It is, frankly, not worth the aggravation especially in light of the...
Read moreThis location on august 1,2023 before 11pm - closing - served me a pizza & salad with long pieces of hair in the food. I called this location multiple times, the staffing gave me the run around - I called again august 2,2023 approximately around 9pm the manager told me he can make me 3 slices instead of the entire pie of pizza and pizza toppings as the salad. As this was last night , a way to feed my family I was entirely disappointed with the managers response as I depended on this establishment to feed my family with the upmost quality made food. The manager then, was eating food with his cooks behind the wall when I came to the establishment to address the hair issue because it didn’t comprehend to him over the phone that it wasn’t about the food or the cost as this location has been a local pizzeria for me. The cooks and manager came from behind the wall wiping their mouths with their arm to assist customers before me instead of, washing their hands after eating the food I and or customers are purchasing daily to support this business. As a single mother who works in a salaried position, I looked forward to this company supporting my issue, but the manager left me with a bad taste in my mouth that I will never forgive and will reach higher for results that I witnessed tonight - someone higher than the store manager needs to contact me about this establishment or I will...
