4 years with Robin going strong with classes and private sessions. Iād only done yoga twice prior to doing yoga with Robin and found it slow and boring. But then I went with a friend to Robinās class and I really liked it. I liked her and liked stretching. I kept going to class twice a week for the rest of the year listening to her and doing what I saw others doing. One day, I ran into Robin outside of class, and she suggested doing some private yoga for a few weeks so she could show me how to get into the right positions. So I did. And, wow! I learned that I had greatly underestimated yoga - what it is and what it can do for my body. 3 years later, Iām still doing private sessions and classes. Iāve learned that yoga is just as much about strength as it is stretch and itās made me so much stronger. Iām hooked. I recommend yoga classes with Robin. In class, thereās good music, good vibes and we use props ā blocks, knee pads and straps. The class is great for beginners and for those more experienced who want to add to it. Robin is passionate, kind, motivating and she creates a ājust try itā atmosphere where itās okay to fall when trying to balance. Itās okay to not be elegant getting out of a pose. Itās a safe space to learn and do yoga, one class at a time. Thereās women and men of all ages. I also highly recommend doing private sessions with Robin. She tailors the one hour session to whatās going on with me that day or week. She teaches me new poses and encourages me to push myself, to balance, to integrate and have fun. We end every session with a shavasana, an eye pillow, some aromatherapy, and Robin playing her...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRobin's class was the first in-person yoga class I attended since the pandemic started, and it has become my weekly ritual to practice with her on Wednesday and Sunday nights (she also offers a Friday at Noon class). The space is AMAZING! I would describe it as a serene and soothing sanctuary space. The best space I've ever had a yoga class. I love it! You enter through two beautiful arched dark wood doors. Inside you will see ancient amber stained glass windows on both sides that fill the room with a warm glow, and dark wood floors, walls, and beams throughout. Robin places electric tea lights around the room, which makes it even more tranquil and calm. You can spread out and have plenty of space around you and your mat. Then, Robin's choice of music immediately relaxes. The way Robin guides you through each pose is easy to follow, even for first-timers, and she will provide extra support and modifications for beginners and for those who want more of a challenge. Once a month on Sunday she treats the class to a crystal singing bowl healing session during the last 15 minutes of class. I love that her class is for 75 minutes. Thereās plenty of time to work the entire body and not feel rushed. She is a caring and expert teacher who works from her heart and a place of acceptance of all levels of practice and body types. I highly recommend Robin's class. She also offers private yoga sessions at her home...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the best Yoga in Atlanta. After an extensive search for a peaceful yoga studio that focuses on teaching yoga while maintaining yoga philosophy I am so excited to have found Robin. Robin is an amazing teacher who is open and kind and excited to teach everyone, from the hesitant beginners to the experienced practitioners. She fosters a warm and welcoming environment in the most gorgeous yoga studio Iāve ever practiced in (a re-purposed old wooden chapel). Her classes are approachable, yet as challenging as you want them to be. It is a hidden gem of yoga in the southeast, and a memorable experience for anyone who loves yoga or is looking to learn more. I canāt say enough about how wonderful it is to practice with Robin! You will leave the...
