McDonald's — Restaurant in Decatur

This place is Awful!! The customers are treated like crap by the Manager Alem. The other night i experienced something very unprofessional. I was in the drive through trying to order my food and nobody was in there to take my order. 10 minutes passed by and we drove through the first window. The manager Alem was arguing with one of his employees. He had seen us pull up by the first window but he just kept arguing with his employee. I was very mad so we honked. He literally ignored us. I got out of my car pissed off and knocked on the window. Eventually he came. I said, '' Are you not paying attention to your job or what the hell are you doing? Ive waited here for 10 minutes and i still get not service! '' With an attitude he answers me, '' you should know that you need to pull to the 2nd window '' I shockingly answer him '' How on earth am i supposed to know if nobody is listening to me and clearly yall aren't looking at the cameras. So why the hell are yall open 24 hrs but yet you dont have nobody to take my order, you should put a sign indicating where to go & also you need to be careful who you talk to in that tone. '' I pull up to the 2nd window and the guy took FOREVER to take my order. My cousin works their and that manager treats all immigrants like crap calling the ''wet back'' and most of the women there are hispanic. Clearly they are only there to work and not waste time. If a person doesnt understand the English Language then at least help them out, be patient, or better yet find someone to translate. That manager is an Afro- American who speaks FLUENT spanish!! My cousin the other night was trying to let him know to not walk towards the storage place because the floor was wet because of the cold meat bags that had just been unboxed and he told her to Shut up. All she tried to do was warn him to be cautious if he had to go back there. This manager is unfair to his employees and makes them stay to work extra hours when in that place you wont get paid extra hours and for any little reason he takes off the breaks of every employee he dislikes. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH WORKING AT!! YOU ARE TREATED LIKE SLAVES AND CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED...

We never get the correct order. They always (the last 5/5 times) leave out 1/4 to 1/2 of our order.

The last FIVE times a member of our family of four has ordered via their drive through window and gotten home, at least one person was disappointed because they didn’t get their sandwich. I know- check your order, but Chick-Fil-A ALWAYS gets our order right and most other places may leave out fries or a drink, but nothing like this McDonald’s!

Today is Father’s Day. I’m at home with a broken knee and our two kids. I was planning on relaxing a bit but instead, I have to take care of our 8 year old who woke up with a tummy bug. So I’m washing dishes, making Jello and keeping up with his medicine. My wife works until 4PM and I have to work tomorrow.

We were going to go out to eat for Father’s Day, but due to our youngest’s illness, we decide to put it off and just have Mommy grab us food on the way home. The kids wanted McDonald’s. I wasn’t thrilled because I didn’t feel like gambling on whether or not we’d actually get out food, but in the end, I decided I’d order extra food so certainly I’d get enough!

They didn’t put in the bag: my daughter’s Bacon Smokehouse Double cheeseburger or my Quarter Pounder Deluxe!! Our fries and drink were there and my son got his Happy Meal. I did get the emergency egg McMuffin I put as backup, but what the hell?!

And these people want $15.00 per hour minimum!! This is...

I can only imagine that this is a franchise location, definitely not corporate-owned. Management seems nonexistent and they are constantly out of something/everything.

This is either a franchise owner that is too cheap to run this properly or it is a franchise owner that doesn't care as long as there is a little profit monthly.... But it should be unacceptable overall and McDonald's should be paying much more attention to their franchisees.

The food is average, it's never really great but the service usually makes up for it and it's usually clean. Again not the case with this location, we come here because the kids want to play indoors when it's raining or cold when we eat lunch after church. It's not clean, especially the play place, I had to clean BBQ sauce off my kids knee because some jackwagon let their kid take food in the play place.

Also, at one point I waited 7 mins at the front counter for help that never came, so we didn't order at all that day. The week before that the woman that helped us seemed to be elsewhere when taking the order, possibly even offended to have to come and take our order, gimme a discount and I'll use the kiosk. I tried the app the last time we went....and 3 items were unavailable because they were out of them/waiting for a truck.

I'll gladly take my business elsewhere,...
