McDonald's — Restaurant in Decatur

I bought food at this restaurant and ate outside because I'm feeling unwell today. In fact, I have to work today and I actually ordered here TWICE, eating outside both times, lunch and dinner. When I went inside to get a refill, I NEVER LEFT THE RESTAURANT SITE and I was told I'd have to pay for it or leave.

I have never eaten at McDonalds where I was charged for my refill. The teenager was really rude about it, even though I offered to show my receipt, he wasn't interested in facts, he said I have to pay for my refill, which I know isnt a fact since I'm always at McDonalds ordering food... in fact, it felt really like he had some kind of bias against me, he acted like I was stealing, I think he thought I was a homeless person or something, which is no excuse to make such an unprofessional scene anyhow. When I asked about his manager he pointed at a random group seated in the dining room, and they just stared at us- I assume those were all workers on break and their small children just hanging out. Now I'll be contacting corporate through the McDonald's app and the survey receipt until I get a response about being treated like a thief.

This location is my main stop for lunch, helluva way to lose my constant business. I also will not be delivering for my side gig app from here anymore.

I stopped by McDonald's Wednesday I ordered fish, 10 piece nuggets and fries to take for lunch. The fish you could barely see or taste the tartar sauce and it taste like iy was sitting all day. The nuggets were dry and rubbery. The fries was the only thing that was good. If I wasn't off the next day and didn't live in that area I would have taken the nuggets back. I held on to them actually until this morning but decided to just throw them away. I didn't want to mess up my day stopping by there again. Just so you know we can tell when food taste like it's been sitting or microwaved to death. Please hire people with at least half a personality. Maybe then the prices won't matter so much. I stopped by McDonald's today on my way to work 4/27/25. This lady was washing the drive thur windows when she finished someone in line ordered a soda without washing her hands she picked up a cup hand placed around the mouth part and fixed someone drink. I ordered a fish fillet that had no cheese on it, and it was really dry. I'm angry because McDonald's continues to raise their prices. My lunch was awful if I wasn't heading to work and checked my food when I bought it, I would have took the mess back. Have you ever heard that meme about the differences between McDonald's and Chik-fil-A? You know the one, where you get to McDonald's and they proceed to tell you they don't have anything you want to order? The last two visits we've made here have been that way. Visit 1, we wanted the Buttermilk Crispy Tenders. We had a coupon for the 10 piece. They told us they could only sell us the 5 piece because they hadn't taken out any more of the tenders. It was only 9pm; still two hours before they closed.

Visit 2, we want the McRib. You know, that sandwich that is only around once per year. We don't see it on the menu anywhere despite knowing they have it, because I had perfectly great McRibs from the Braselton location near my job. So we ask, do you have McRibs. They said yes, they do. They don't have the special price the one in Braselton does (2 for $5), but okay. We try to order it at regular price, that's fine. The same guy who told us they had it on the menu immediately answers "we dont got no McRibs, we out". The staff here is awful; if you aren't interesting in doing your job, you should be fired. None of them were working, except for 3 employees standing around as 1 of them swept up trash behind the counter in a small pile, just laughing and cutting up.
