So disappointed in tonight's experience. I wanted to do something special for my husband to celebrate Father's Day. We went here since he loved it so much a little while back, we came again. We asked for a booth but was told there was a small wait but a table was readily available. We were starving so took it. We noticed a booth cleaned near by and within 5 mins the hostess sat the next guest party of 1. We waited for our sever, Shaun, to arrive so we can place our drinks and by the time he came we went ahead and placed food as well. Our drinks came from the bar and we continued to wait for soups and bread. The man at the booth had his bread even though we were seated first. Our soups came which was delicious. Then came the bread which my husband enjoyed. Now for the main entrée. We waited and waited. The guy in the booth received his steak but ours were no where to be found. I checked my phone and realized we had been sitting for an hour so asked a waiter next to our section if it was normal. He said no and went to check our meal status then let us know ours was up next. The food came, I ordered a medium rare 12 oz ribeye and shrimp off the barbie. I cut into my steak which was more medium then anything and when I asked my server if he thought it was medium he told me he thought medium rare despite being no red in sight. I told him not to worry about it bc I was starving and didn't want to continue waiting. My husband ordered the bone in ribeye as medium well but was served well done. He said it was okay and just wanted to have a good night. So I tried to not let something "small" get to me. I have 4 shrimp on my plate. My favorite thing to order since I can't cook at home bc of husband's shell fish allergy. They WERE COLD!!! At the point I'm beyond frustrated. Do you think my server came by to ask how everything was? NO! I left the other 3 waiting but he never came. I gave up trying to have a good dinner bc at this point I was so hungry and so angry I just ate so we can leave. I drank my alcohol beverage well before my steak arrived and was never offered a second. Now eating this over cooked steak, I had to wash down with my water. Do you think Shaun asked if I would like a refill on that?! NO. My husband and I don't eat out often and this was actually the first time he was letting me take him out and I left after paying $80 dinner plus tip more angry and wishing we would've just stayed home. The only thing impressive about this dinner was the soups.
My husband's first experience at any Outback was a couple months ago for his birthday and everything was perfect. The service was great, it was a busy Saturday but the steaks were flavorful and juicy. Our waitress was attentive.

We walked in and the host asked if we wanted a high top booth. We noticed a lot of booths available, so we asked if we could have one. She said it would take 20 minutes.
We settled for the high top, but two minutes later, two separate couples got booths right next to us. That was the first issue.
It took over 10 minutes for our waitress to ask if we wanted drinks. While she was asking us, she said she had a special and then walked off to another table in the middle of a sentence.
Water, soda, and bread took another 10+ minutes to arrive. At this point, we had been sitting for over 20 minutes and hadn’t been asked what we wanted to eat.
While we were waiting, every waiter and waitress, including the bar servers, was watching a UFC fight. No one was getting any service!
After 20 minutes of seeing our waitress, Sydney, basically forget about us, I finally got her attention. I stopped her and asked for my check and expressed my dissatisfaction. She then went to the back with our kiosk, and someone else came out who was silent, gave me a weird look, put down the kiosk, and walked off without saying anything. I finally figured out the kiosk was ready for payment.
As we were paying, the waitress came back and said we should give her five stars. We looked at her sideways and proceeded to give her all 1 stars. She watched us give her a review and ran to her manager as we were leaving. The manager finally stepped in and said if anything was wrong.
By that time, it was way too late, and I had said so much was wrong. I walked off, not wanting to explain how poorly serviced and managed this place was.

Read moreWent in tonight for a late dinner the store was maybe 1/4 full and no biggie but we waited about 10 minutes to be greeted + time for our drinks at a bar that had one bar guest at the time. We had a great server. He was very kind and friendly. We had been at the restaurant for 45 closer to an hour and we had only had one drink and our side salads. Asked about our entrees because it had been a while and it came out maybe two minutes later. We were checking out and it asks you to do a survey. Our server saw me press 3 stars on one of the prompted questions , a question that was not about him (I had pressed 5 stars on everything else except the one thing) he immediately said “please 5 stars they make the schedule based off of our ratings it’s not my fault” I’m a restaurant manager , it’s disappointing to hear that a company is doing this to their staff. They’re being rated on things that are out of their control. It’s not fair to the servers who are putting in the work.
Lastly, my 8oz steak and baked potato was served on a small plate. While I didn’t think it was gonna be a problem , I was struggling to cut my steak and cut my potato without food pushing to the borders and falling on the table. I’m not a messy eater but this made me feel like one. Also, the steak was over seasoned and spicy even for someone who enjoys seasoning and spice.
Again , our server tonight was great. I wish I could’ve gotten his name. I was hoping he wasn’t upset with me for the one 3 star out of many 5 stars that I gave and I hope that won’t affect him.
