Marshalls — Local services in Deerfield Beach

Marshalls is a Good Store, similar to TJ Maxx and Home Goods. I've been searching for 2 Sets of Throw Pillows for my sofa and love seat. First, I went to the Marshalls on Glades Road in Boca Raton and found 1 Set of 2 that I loved and, that would match my colors in my house but sadly, they didn't have a Second Set. Instead of passing up the pattern and the price, I purchased them in hopes that I would find a second set at another Marshall's or, TJ Maxx. Sure enough, I went over to the Marshalls in Deerfield on Hillsboro and Powerline. Thankfully, they had 1 Set of 2 of the exact same pattern. Ironically, i had to stop at TJ Maxx on the way home and they also had 1 Set of 2 but, I already purchased the quantity needed, 2 Sets of 2, each set being only $25.00. I'm very Happy with my purchases and, they brightened up my living room nicely. Their prices are good, if you know what you are looking for. Stores are handicapped accessible, clean and parking is not far from the front door. Now, if I could only find 2 of the same drugs for either side of the bed, then I'd be Happy. I never leave a review but this one I won’t let it pass. My mom purchased a dress from Zara at this store. It did not fit so we went the next day to return and apparently they “couldn’t” find the merchandise. The numbers matched exactly the same on the tag as we have on the receipt. I showed the “manager” Marcelo and he said it was not the tag from the merchandise and Zara never has that tag, and they didn’t attach it like that. So I said if he want I could wait so he could look at the camera and see that WE DID PURCHASED HERE. He said he would give us an exception, and I said I didn’t want exceptions because I wasn’t lying or anything. He said he wasn’t gonna look at the cameras because it takes really long time. I’m very disappointed with this store. It’s ridiculous how they treat you. Never had a problem with this store until he came. So people, be aware… they do not like the returns , and he had a problem with couple shoes as well that I was returning. He said to the nice lady: just do the same , just accept Like I was lying or doing...

I enjoyed the variety and quality of products, and my boyfriend and I had a good time perusing the shelves for new decorations. The trip was sadly ruined, however, by our cashier. Jennifer (I think her last initial was an M) seemed to try her best to make the checkout process as unpleasant as she could. You know how you occasionally watch a cashier fumble around a product searching for the bar code, and so you smile and point it out? Yeah, well, Jennifer didn’t like that. With a huff and an eye roll she made sure to let us know that she, “would’ve found it eventually.” Trying to lighten the suddenly weird mood, I laughed awkwardly, saying, “oh, I just had some trouble finding it too, so…” Another eye roll. The rest of the transaction passed in complete silence. She didn’t read us our total, didn’t give a half-hearted pleasantry, nothing. I get it. People have bad days.
