Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Deerfield Beach

During our 1st visit it was very busy inside. It was a Saturday. I'm glad the cashier who took our order was kind and patient. My kids LOVE chicken nuggets. Unfortunately, one of them is allergic to peanuts, so he couldn't get the crispy chicken nuggets. He got the grilled chicken nuggets, waffle fries, and an apple juice. I got the Chick-fil-A sandwich, my oldest son got the chicken tenders with waffle fries and an apple juice, and my youngest son got the crispy chicken nuggets, fruit and chocolate milk. We enjoyed ourselves. OUR table was clean. However, whoever sat at the table adjacent left such a mess. Even my kids knew that wasn't right. That's poor manners. It was disappointing that no one didn't come by and cleaned it up. That mess was there the whole time we sat down at our table and ate. Again, I did say it was busy. Possibly, the group/persons that left that weren't done. Regardless, we didn't let it bother us too much. Once WE were done eating, we picked up our wrappers and threw it away in the trash. WE made sure our table was just as clean as we found it. The kids wanted to go to the play area, but I declined due to the crowds of children. Hopefully, another time they could go and enjoy themselves. Fast forward to that evening, my second son with the peanut allergy was having trouble breathing. He believes it's because of the waffle fries. He read somewhere that they're cooked in canola oil. I gave him his medicines. He went to sleep. Woke up the next morning a bit better. I called the store Monday morning and asked them how the waffle fries and grilled chicken nuggets are made. The person who picked up the phone was kind and answered my questions. I checked the allergen information on their website. The grilled chicken nuggets and the waffle fries do not contain neither dairy, soy, tree but, wheat, or egg. The ingredients for the marinade used on the grilled chicken nuggets. Canola oil isn't listed anywhere on this list either. I would've given 5 stars if it weren't for that messy table and the allergy scare. Everything else was great. Until next time,...

Disgusted.

I went by tonight and waited in the line for a good 30mins to get food.

I ordered over $50 in food. Receipt attached.

When I got through the line, I was given 1 bag of food. (Figuring it all couldn't be in 1 bag)

I looked at the guy a bit baffled and asked, 'Is this everything?!"

He said, "Yes."

Out of respect for the other 40 cars waiting in line, I didn't search through the bag to check and I left.

Went home. Took a shower then ate.

I went to go get the cookies...or so I thought.

They weren't there. Of course I'm a bit frustrated.

Not because they weren't there, but because I had asked if the cookies were in the bag and told they were.

I just drove back over to get the cookies.

For me, it's about principle. I was told they were in there, but they weren't.

I drove up and one of the outside workers greeted me.

I showed the receipt and explained what happened.

After, a few mins and a quick chat..

He shared that management had determined that there was no way that 5 cookies could've been missed in an order.

And, they weren't going to give me the 5 cookies.

I mean really?

Being so backed up (30-45mins) to get food and trying to move as fast as humanly possible and 5 cookies out of 1 bigger order couldn't be missed?

Wow. Come on man.

Furthermore, management is essentially calling me a liar.

That I would drive back 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back to get 5 cookies by lying.

That I would be trying to steal $5 worth of goods.

You've got to be kidding me.

So, instead of doing the right thing and giving me the cookies they label me a liar and lose a customer forever.

I’ve been to many chick-Fil-a around the world & Pride them on their Exceptional Customerservice, it’s like no other! Today I ran into a young lady by the name of the Autumn who took my order! Very discriminative in her way of delegating! Although Florida wears that Hate tag on its sleeve it’s contained in most parts (another story entirely)! I personally can’t get mad at ignorance that’s been so deeply Indoctrinated into the fabric of America, but when an individuals goes out their way to make it obvious, I have to highlight it!

In nutshell: I ordered two 12 count chicken nuggets grilled and it was a gentleman behind me. Caucasian guy who ordered some items that were a lot more than what I ordered somehow got his food before me. Even though mines was sitting on the Counter first she made an effort to give him his and handed it to him with a smile, different energy when it came to giving me mine! She’s the type of person that hides behind his/her credentials & over flex their authority! Hopefully she’ll grow out of that mindset as she gets older, but right now she’s Spitting in the wind! The ideology of Hate has destroyed humanity, Human interaction & the ecological balance of the world! Just turn on CNN!!
