I ordered t a waffle cone with 2 scoops of ice-cream, Cheese crown and toffee. Both ice creams were amazing and came with large portions. The waffle cone was fresh as can be, tasty as well.
The service, however, was crapy! Jacob, was the young man who assisted me. Being that this was my first time visiting Graeters, I asked Jacob if i could taste the crown cheese flavor. He didn't give me any eye contact while serving me, in fact he was looking behind me towards the door, mind you there was no line. He also had dried out snot visible coming out of his nose so, naturally, with him not appearing to be hygienic I asked him if I could get another waffle cone other then the one he was going to give me because he had his hands all over the first one and did not use a napkin! He did not verbally acknowledge hearing me however he did change the waffle cone. Handed me my ice cream, gave me my total, then said to me "have a nice night" in a not so friendly tone. Overall, he was not welcoming at all and didn't smile not once. I would visit Graeter's again, just not...
Read moreFather's Day the internet said the bakery opened at 9am. We were there at 9:15. The woman ahead of us nearly cleaned them out. Since I'm a COVID worker in New Jersey and this is my 7 days off (I fly back Tuesday). I wanted sticky buns and cherry/cheese Danish. My sticky buns were 1/3 the norm with about 5 pecans and my Danish had a big whole where the cherries should have been piled z(see photos - wireless charger in photo to show pastry size. This is exactly how we got the pastries!). I wanted to leave but my husband insisted on getting a cheese pocket and chocolate covered bundt cake. I've been a member for years, but cheating people when I'm risking my life in Jersey City NJ for complete strangers is opportunistic and Un-American. We won't be back and we'll show our photos to our church group, extended family in the area, parents of the kids' soccer and little league...anyone we can get to pay attention. Father's day is once a year. I, thank God was alive to spend it at home. Greater's was a family tradition. I guess it died during...
Read moreI love Graeter’s, but here they had a table that said 50% off on top with a bunch of Christmas mugs and candy. I picked a mug and went to check out. The person checking me out said it wasn’t on clearance and I was honestly going to get it any way because I liked it until she was extremely rude. I asked if any of the other mugs were on sale and she told me “nothing like that would ever be on sale” and it “clearly says select items” but there is literally no way to tell which items on the table are on sale. I asked what WAS on sale, apparently it was “just the candy and things people can’t return”. Why have a sign on top of a table that says 50% if like nothing on the table is on sale. At least mark which things are on sale! My mom mentioned that they might want to move the items that weren’t on sale to eliminate confusion and she said “well it clearly says select items so”. I will just go to another Grater’s next time because I really believe in kindness, I’m not sure why exactly she felt the...
