roaches!! i used to come to this restaurant quite often, at least a few times a month, sometimes even once a week just for a drink. yesterday me and my friend were eating during our lunch break and i saw this baby roach. i didn’t know if it was a roach or not at first, so i took pictures and we went back to work. after i confirmed that it was a roach after doing some research we both came back here after work. the guy who i assume is the manager, who was normally nice, was very rude and basically asked “if we saw it earlier why are we coming back now for a refund” and giving us a hard time. the audacity to act like we were the problem?? we had to go back to work because our break was over and i wanted to confirm it was actually a roach first. this is the first time this has happened to me so i was kind of shocked and didn’t really know what to do. but after a bit of going back and forth he finally gave us a refund but didn’t even apologize and just kept giving us attitude. and i apologized because i felt bad for even saying something. but like, we’re not the ones that put the BABY ROACH in your restaurant sir. this was so disappointing especially as someone who came here often. also...
Read moreI am glad we tried out this restaurant for lunch today. This would be the 1st Pho restaurant in Del City that we have patronized. Plenty of parking places and conveniently located only 0.6 mile from Walmart (Tinker Diagonal). My husband and I enjoyed the food. My husband ordered the fried pork noodles ($11.99). I ordered the Chef's Special ($13.49) just to satisfy my curiosity of what is so special. I love it. I know the taste of a real broth and the flavor that resulted from hours of simmering of beef bones and spices. Superb! A big bowl of hot nutritious beef soup with rice noodles, sliced beef shank, Vietnamese pork ham and solidified pork blood. For greens to add to the soup, we are served with a separate plate of fresh bean sprouts, shredded white and purple cabbage, some parsley leaves, slices of jalapeno and lime. I also enjoyed my husband's fried noodles (lo mein with pork) too. Just the right amount of oil and seasoning. We will definitely come...
Read moreThe Pho is very good. They have 3 sizes and their medium (regular) is similar to other places large. The broth is more subtle than other places and not too salty. For some reason the steak seemed over done. Normally the steak is cut thin and placed in the hot broth raw. I don't know if they pre-cook it here but it seems so. I prefer very rare so if you don't, you will love this.
The cheese rolls are amazing.
The fried rice is great but if you get it with chicken, don't. Their chicken seems processed and seasoned oddly.
The coconut shake is also great. If you add tapioca the balls will be a bit large.
More importantly, the place is dirty. I hope the kitchen is clean but the dining area and rest rooms are not.
The window shade next to our table was littered with dead bugs. The floor was filthy. The employees were nice but didn't do anything...
