As a self-proclaimed ice cream connoisseur, I invite you to hear my honest opinion about Scoop House and Bakery. Don’t let the 5 stars fool you🤨 because I would absolutely give this place 852,000 stars if I could!!!!! Everything about this place is perfect. Their logo? Adorable. The environment inside? So fun and inviting. The homemade ice cream?!?! To die for. The staff? SO friendly!! Malakai (I’m so sorry if I spelt your name wrong dude) was so nice, inviting, and funny! I wasn’t sure about the cookie butter ice cream, so I was going to just get a single scoop of cookies and cream, but he had such positive things to say about the cookie butter flavor that I went ahead and opted for a double with both flavors! It was absolutely delicious! He definitely represents the company well especially being the first person you see and interact with! This was our first time here, and it certainly won’t be our last!!! I’ve already warned my husband that a new addiction has been unleashed, so he's prepared to be going there all the time now for my ice cream fix. :) Overall it was such a great visit, and I’m so excited to go back and try more flavors!
If that wasn’t enough to convince you to support this local business….. their ice cream spoons change colors when they get cold. Exactly. Tell em Kaylee sent you😎 (don’t actually…they don’t know who I am and that will not get you any perks🤣)
Thank you...
Read moreIt was originally my boyfriend and I's intention to simply go out to dinner this evening, and we were stopped momentarily by a young gentleman named Malakai, asking if we'd like to stop in to try samples of their ice cream. We made a deal with him that we would come back after we finished dinner next door.
When we came by after dinner, both Malakai and Alex seemed excited to tell us about how everything is made in-house! An impressive feat these days that most restaurants can't even boast about. There are also no artificial dyes used, as well as a variety of gluten and dairy-free options. We tried the strawberry lemonade and salted caramel flavors, and will definitely be coming back for more!
I loved the atmosphere of the shop as well, everything is brightly colored and cheery. The staff were not only informative and enthusiastic, but a joy to meet. My favorite little touch was the color-changing spoons you get if you get a cup instead of a cone! This is the kind of place I'm proud to see pop up...
Read moreA recently day opened local ice cream shop and bakery in Del City in the same strip mall as Ted's. We stopped in and chose from there 15+ different options, some gluten free, some dairy free if that is a concern. We decided on a scoop of Turkish and one of almond joy ice cream. Along with a chocolate almond cookie. We enjoyed all three. Ice cream is made at the shop, both were smooth and were delicious. The cookie was above average for sure. They had other options such as a chocolate lava cake, other cakes and cookies, and a sign said there would soon be pie. You got to give this place a stop in, very friendly and have samples of the ice creams to help you decide. And local. Price for the 3 came to 14 dollars, but the quality...
