Culver’s — Restaurant in DeLand

Honestly I feel robbed of my money. Thr burger meat patty is very good tasting, but that is where it ended for me. The problem is the buns not always properly toasted to hold a very greasy hamburger so it is soggy. Not only that but the Mayo is usually coagulated due to the heat and grease as you can see in the pictures. I have to ask for mayo on both sides of the bun. The bacon didn't taste good, it tasted old and hard. The 2 patties of meat touch each other with no cheese in between. Cheese on top of one patty and on the bottom of the other patty. There was barely any lettuce at all. I had to go back through to order the lettuce. If you order cheese curds for $7-$9, don't expect there to be any sauce that comes with it. No you have to pay an additional $.50 for any one sauce there. After the high price, it just shows absolute greed. The concrete mixer is another waste of money. You pay $5-$8 for an over priced milk shake without a straw. I added peanut butter and marshmallow to the one in the picture, but you would never know it because you can't see it from over mixing. The few employees had smiles but really seemed frustrated. Especially when I asked about the root beer having ice. As a customer and not an employee, how do I know that they don't put any ice in the flavor of root beer. Every other flavor except root beer, have ice in it. That concept makes absolutely no sense and only leaves fustrations for the customer. With 2 coupons being used it still cost $19.21 for what you see pictured. A bacon double cheeseburger, cheese curds, a root beer, and a type of milkshake I guess. The beef patty itself is a great flavor but this place is way too expensive in these times and this area. I won't be paying my hard earned money here again. Too much it there I can buy for $20 and at least have 3 meals out of it. This is couldn't finish because of the grease and I had to throw it away. I had never been to Culver's before. My husband described it as "fast food for the wealthy" and that's how it felt. The drive through lanes had their own mini-buildings with menus and shades ---like a tollbooth. Each lane was manned by an employee. The girl that took our order was EXTREMELY professional and personable. She was helpful, Knowledgeable, and efficient. Their employees then give you an order number for your side view mirror-its like a sticky note. Chick-fil-A has a similar service flow. However, this Culver's had an elaborate system of numbers and letter with designated parking spots along the side of the drive through lane in which to wait, totally separate from curbside pickup. Their employees were talking and laughing on their way to hand out orders to cars, and it did not negatively affect their promptness or attentiveness. We got exactly what we ordered and everything was super fresh and crisp, from the burgers edges to the lettuce and tomato. The bun was a luxurious, soft, twisty-shape bread. They are also apparently famous for their ice cream mix-in shakes. I can confirm, it was just as fresh and delicious. Like a Wendy's frosty but twenty times better, and I asked for strawberry mix in, and they were ripe and sweet, whole chunks. I had a serious carb crash after. 10/10 worth the $30...

They treat doordashers very bad 👎 they treat them ike there stealing orders .....they throw them out without warning like they are like less then people when coming into this bussniss...... I am speaking as a witness to a event a couple of events............ I do doordash but I refuse to do it there because of the way they treat the dashers I've seen I've also called doordash and asked should they be making dashers say they received the order before there able to check doordash said 100 percent NO that's the meaning of confirming u have the order ..... so when we it's delivered and its wrong you know there not letting us check.... it is taking accountability away from the store and putting it on the driver and with the way they treat there doordashers I wouldn't want to ask them to correct anything any...........
