I honestly regret ever stepping into this place. I went for dinner with two of my friends, and all three of us ended up vomiting within 24 hours. One of them had already warned us, because she had eaten from this place twice before, and both times she vomited afterwards. That alone should’ve been enough for us to stay away, but we didn’t expect it to happen again. Clearly, it’s a serious ongoing problem.
After the buffet, I didn’t feel well at all. The next day, I ate some grapes and milk , because I felt off. I started smelling everything intensely and felt like throwing up all day. Still, I pushed myself to go to class.
In the middle of class, things got worse. I started sweating uncontrollably, felt dizzy and weak, and then I vomited right there in class. I hadn’t eaten anything else the whole day, so there’s no doubt in my mind that it was the buffet food. My one friend also threw up the next day, and other had already thrown up the night we ate. Three people, same symptoms, all from the same restaurant. That’s not a coincidence, that’s clear food poisoning.
On top of that, we didn’t leave a tip because the experience didn’t warrant it and tipping should always depend on service. However, the waitress came back to our table and directly asked us to give a tip, which felt extremely uncomfortable and...
Read moreFood was decent. But the people are weird. There was a hair in my husbands food that was clearly cooked into the food. (He picked the whole piece of chicken up by the hair). When we told the waitress, she literally sat there and picked through the food looking for it, as if she was trying to prove he was lying instead of taking his word for it. She walked away took the plate. We watched her sit there digging through the food trying to find it, then she came back with the plate saying that she didn’t find no hair. My husband looked and the hair was gone. She had clearly picked it out. The chicken was tore completely apart. They wanted to get us for a waste fee soooo bad. Good thing they didn’t because I would have caused a scene! Like nobody wants to eat food with hair in it. Then she said it had to have fallen in there from a customer. But it clearly was cooked in. Also they inspect your to go box and charge 6 dollars extra if you have seafood in it. Which was weird. How is farm raised (not from the sea) fried shrimp SEA food. 🤣 AND the front of the building smelled like poop. Literally either they had a septic problem or one of the women standing at the counter smelled like poop....
Read moreWe went for a friend's birthday for dinner, which was a bit high priced, but that's not their fault. Everything is high priced atm compared to years ago, but if I am comparing their pricing to others, I'd have to say their price is fair for the amount of food & service you get. The staff was very friendly and clean. The food all looked very well presented, and it was fresh. Also, I'm sure that if something wasn't fresh and you mentioned it to them, they would probably put something new out. They also have the Hibachi grill, so you can have something made fresh as well, regardless. Nicely presented sushi area; my only negative comment has to do with the restroom and not that it's not clean; I think it's an issue that they can't control entirely that has something to do with the plumbing, so if they could get that fixed then there would be no negative anything for me. I'm quite happy with the food and the service that was received and so are the individuals that came with me. I think that they remodeled the place, and it looks much nicer than the prior owners...
