Taco Bell — Restaurant in DeLand

There was a line when we arrived, and that was fine. We ordered, and waited about 20 minutes. They give us our food, we leave the drive through & check it in the car lot. It was not even our order. 2 regular crunchy tacos in a Doritos locos container with cheese, the burrito, but no Mexican pizza. We went back to the drive through. There was another line the same size, 5 cars, whatever. We pull up to the order screen (lobby was closed) I said how my order was wrong. They acknowledged they did not give me the right order because they did not mute their mic and said I was here to it up. I waited about 20 minutes. I watched what appeared to be the night manager check the bag, and shake her head as if the order was correct. The lady at the window handed it to me, I said thank you, she said have a nice night.We pull around to the parking lot, and check the order. It was wrong AGAIN they have use 2 burritos and a crunch wrap. I tried to call but no answer. So we tried for a final time to get our order correct. This time when I pulled up I said I'm back because you gave me the wrong order AGAIN. I waited about 20 minutes to get to the window. Then they say 18.18 that was the total for the car behind me. I said no, I'm here for my order you got wrong. Here is the last incorrect bag you gave me. The lady in the drive through said I didn't do anything. I said well someone in the back did & they keep messing up. I just want my food. I waited about another 5 minutes and they gave me my order. Everything was finally correct except the pizza we ordered had tomatoes on it, which we didn't want. Also the lady taking the orders the entire time was screaming What? What? When she couldn't hear us, or anyone else ordering. The person behind me the last time I went through the drive through I told them, "Hey, I ordered at 1:50 and they have gotten my order wrong two times now, this is my third time in the drive through. So just check your order before you leave." He said "Woooow," like he didn't believe me. Then he poked his head back inside I'm assuming to look at the time 2:30. He then backed out and left. I will never go to this location again. The wait time for the first time I could excuse but getting our order multiple times and being there for over an hour was totally...

Update: Mediocre again.

Tonight, Taco Bell had someone who was extremely unhappy on the mike but getting food out within minutes. So fast, cheap, and mediocre. Food was fine, probably better with hot sauces that were not offered to me (now that's a first!).

Dear Taco Bell: They aren't having fun in their job at this one franchise in DeLand and everybody should be allowed to have some fun in a minimum wage job.

Original review below: As anyone who has gone to Taco Bell (or who has worked in food service) can tell you, it's about the quality of the cooks. Right now, they are having fun, making it tasty, and rolling it out. It's a marked difference from Taco Bell even one year ago, where I would be trapped in the line for an ill-advised powerade because the food was nasty. I never felt prompted to write a bad review like I want to write this good review. Props to the late night crew specifically: That's how you do it, queens! If corporate cares - give them a raise! First off we are new to the area and getting a real feel of some of our favorite places 😅 First impressions (Sets the mood) Thursday around 11:45 at night; Customer service was good, I must note this was a drive through, rather large, mobile order but none the less the girl at the speaker/window was pleasant Got home opened the bag only to instantly be heartbroken by the serious lack of cinnamon upon my cinnamon twists seriously unseasoned fried pasta just isn't cutting it for me I move forward after my heart mends a bit and dive into the taco fries again semi lacking in seasoning but still cooked just right and the cheese helped pick things up a bit The rest of the order was made correct and nothing but a fork was missing which would have been a much worse scenario if I wasn't at home enjoying the food Would I do it again absolutely in hopes that whomever made the twists reads this and forever changes...
