I went to get the $6 and two donuts. I haven’t been in a Dunkin’ in 3 years and only went because of the Jason Mewes commercial advertising something I thought was a good deal. They have automated their order area but ordering was EXTREMELY confusing. Most places that offer kiosk only either let you click on the item or the related meal. I clicked on the DunKing meal. I had to click on the coffee, the sandwich and the hashbrowns to add to cart…this is counter productive, as if you don’t click on all, they still charge you for the meal. They don’t give you an option for “I don’t want that” or a substitution like Wendy’s and McDonald’s or another fast food chain. I thought I ordered two meals and was charged as two meals. I was NEVER given a receipt. The kiosk did not print anything out. It simply gave me a number. I go to pick up my order (it was sitting there for awhile and I was never called). The lady hands me one container for the donuts and one container for the meals…if I ordered two meals, shouldn’t I have two meal containers? I questioned it and she told me I didn’t order two meals. I pointed out the price and told her I did. On the receipt, it said two meals but did not give two hashbrowns even though I ordered two meals. The lady then proceeds to argue with me and tell me that if I wanted two hashbrowns that I should have ordered it. She then tells me I can go back in line to order another one if I want it. I then let her know that she can refund the order and I’ll order it EXACTLY as she says. She relents and gives me the hashbrowns but tells me that I need to check my order and that she won’t do this every time. I then proceed to tell her not to worry, as I haven’t been here in 3+ years, chances are that I won’t be back. This experience sucked. I was hoping to trade out for my usual breakfast/brunch from other places. Thanks for convincing me to stick with Wendy’s. They don’t mess up as badly...
Read moreWell, this was a great place and looks nice, everything was great. I guess since another Dunkin is being built in barberville, the manager, who everyone liked, Mandy, is moving to this store cuz it's closer to her house. So SOMEONE with their infinite wisdom chose to move a manager to the Garfield store. Everyone knows me and her don't see eye to eye. We haven't had any problems since she moved to this store, till this morning. I watch ALOT of YouTube videos and not just one but several are of a customer giving a false name so I did that making a haha funny joke. I put just as first name goes in and last name right. Well this morning I go in to have coffee and she blows a gasket calls me outside says she needs talk to me. Ok I go outside, she says your done here meaning I can't come back for what I put as my name on the receipt. Now GOES IN TIGHT, doesn't specify anything yet she ASSUMES it meant something bad and I think cuz she holding a grudge against me from the last store she was in. So it's now offensive to people who ASSUME something based on a stereo type of words. And another customer said she hopes this manager isn't moving to run the store on Garfield cuz she don't like her either. I spent a whole lot of money there, prolly enough to pay one of the employees wages. But it's ok I'll just go back to Dunkin she came from, lol watch their sales increase drastically and the one on Garfield decrease and it won't be just from me but other customers trying to avoid that...
Read moreI recently visited the Dunkin' Donuts in DeLand off of the Speedway, and I must say, the experience left a lot to be desired. First and foremost, the lack of customer service was quite evident. When we attempted to order a milkshake with Baskin-Robbins ice cream, we were informed that every flavor was out of stock. This was quite disappointing, as it seemed like a simple request.
To make matters worse, we decided to go inside and place an order for a milk with a flavor that we had been told was unavailable when ordering through the drive-thru. It's frustrating when there's a clear inconsistency in information provided by the staff.
This isn't the first time I've had a subpar experience at this particular Dunkin' Donuts location. Parking can be a hassle, and the overall customer service leaves much to be desired. Considering that I visit Dunkin' Donuts nearly every morning on a regular basis, I can confidently say that this particular branch falls short of the standard I expect. There's definitely room for improvement, both in terms of service and...
