This was one of the most appalling and unacceptable experiences my family and I have ever had at any restaurant.
We visited the Wingstop located at 305 E International Speedway Blvd in DeLand, FL, and placed a large in-person order. While waiting, another customer came in visibly upset, claiming the wings they received tasted awful. What happened next was beyond disturbing: a staff member checked their cooler and openly admitted that the wings they were serving were expired by two days.
We were shocked. Expired chicken poses a serious health hazard, and we immediately asked for a refund. Instead of addressing our concern responsibly, the staff coldly told us that only the manager could issue refunds—and that the manager was “out getting drunk.” Yes, that’s what we were told. No accountability, no resolution, just complete disregard for our safety and our time.
When we respectfully continued to insist on a refund and mentioned leaving a review, the staff called the police on us. We were calm, non-confrontational, and simply standing up for our right as customers not to be served spoiled food. Instead, we were treated like criminals.
To make matters worse, we strongly believe we were racially profiled and discriminated against for being Hispanic by the African American girl with Pink hair. The tone, the dismissiveness, and the way we were treated compared to other customers in the store was deeply offensive and heartbreaking. This wasn’t just poor service—this felt targeted, unjust, and humiliating.
Wingstop not only served expired food, but their staff refused to make it right, escalated the situation without cause, and made us feel completely dehumanized. This is a serious issue that warrants immediate investigation—for both food safety violations and civil rights violations.
Do better, Wingstop. No paying customer should be subjected to this kind of...

Read moreForgive me for my harsh review. I was expecting chicken wings with bones which are chicken wings. No bones, then tenders or McNuggets. Well, I actually wanted wings with bones in and I didn't want to have to pay $2 extra to have the bones and so I didn't pay the $2 extra and all I got was McNuggets, McDonald's McNuggets flavored with too much salt and seasoning that I don't know what was. Made the tenders mushy, moist. The tender McNuggets hot originals were absolutely disgusting. If you're into McDonald's McNuggets and you don't want bones in your wings then go here enjoy the disgustingness of it all. I won't even go into the blue cheese dressing that they tried to serve me as blue cheese dressing. I guess the only thing I can comment or commend them on is it wasn't that expensive. But it also wasn't that...
