I just visited Bertucci's last night and I was reminded, yet again, why I need to write a review. Let me start by saying that I love Bertucci's. I find myself consistently telling people about how much I enjoy the food and my positive experiences there. I've been going to Bertucci's before it even opened in Delaware. We order or visit a few times per month and the food is always so good! And may I note that our orders are always customized since we lean toward healthier eating. I can't think of one time in all the years we've been going to this location that we haven't enjoyed our meals or to go orders. And if there was any issue, it was always handled in a positive way. In addition, one of the reasons I wanted to write a review is because of the manager, Monica. I can't say enough great things about Monica. She is wonderful! Not only does she go above and beyond to accommodate our needs when we order but she is so friendly and pleasant and takes the time to talk with us each time we visit. I have watched countless times her remaining calm and handling herself in such a professional and friendly way at times when customers are not so pleasant to deal with and always remains calm during super busy times. As a business owner myself, I think it's important to write honest reviews whether they are positive or negative in order to provide constructive feedback. I just wanted to make sure I gave a shout out to Bertucci's and to Monica, in particular, for years of good food and great service. You make Bertucci's even more enjoyable to visit. If you haven't tried their specialty pizzas (our favorite is the Roasted Veggie Pizza with red sauce and no cheese) or the roasted Tuscan veggies, I encourage you to because their delicious! And if Monica happens to be there, say hi -- she's the best! She should be commended for her years of commitment to Bertucci's and customer service. Thank you and keep up the...
Read moreI have been going on again and off again to this such Bertucci's location at multiple points in my life. My last visit to this location from this Massachusetts-based chain came back in 2016 when I was traveling in the area before my most recent visit.
When it comes to this location, the real deal of the Italian cuisine they serve here will flatter your tastebuds. The food is great and will satisfy your stomach, in addition to your taste buds. I had the Chicken Parma with a slow roasted and cut Perdomo Sauce, alongside a Caesar Salad that was complimentary to the meal. The meal's portion size, albeit ample, compared to a New Jersey Diner, or Olive Garden in terms of size essentially could compete with both based on how much food they will give you for the dollar.
The atmosphere also fits well with what the dynamic of Bertucci's really is, the place looks similar to a Tuscan Italian Restaurant, but also incorporates modern elements such as lights, and a bar to appease to changing consumer tastes. The lone dud of this experience was the service in this experience, as it took way too long just to get serviced and get our food. For example, it took 15 minutes just to get our waters, and it took another 10 minutes after the request for a box, ruining an immaculate experience that I prefer to have at most restaurants.
Still. Despite that major hiccup in the category of service, I find that this place is still a great outing on a night in any season, come here if you are in the Delaware Valley, and I can guarantee you, the food and the experience will leave you eccentric, just with a better...
Read moreWhat can one say about a dining experience at this wonderful restaurant….well, let’s start with the wonderful manager Shannon!
Shannon stopped by the table to see how our experience was and she was beyond polite and inviting. Shannon is without a doubt the type of manager I would love to work for. You can tell by the atmosphere , Shannon is well liked and respected as well as you can tell she truly cares about her employees.
Now, onto the lovely server Brian! I’m convinced Brian is the alter ego of a super hero. He embodies the mantra Truth, Justice, and The American Way! Speeding to and from the table like the Flash, remembering everyone’s orders, making the atmosphere relaxing and comforting!
If Brian worked every night, we would be here! It’s been quite some time since we dined at Bertucci’s, but coming back to have Brian as our server was well worth the wait. It’s like waiting your whole life to see the Sistine Chapel! It’s like finally climbing the summit of Mount Everest!
There has NEVER been a server that served my family like Brian. In my dreams, I find Brian servicing my family oh so well! Everyone has. Smile on their face when Brian serves us!
Bertucci’s is so lucky to have a server like Brian.
Brian brings in customers just like when Muslims make the trek to Mecca, or Christian’s make their trek to see the Holy land of Jerusalem!
God...
