I was in this Buffalo Wild Wings earlier today and had possibly the worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant. Me and my girlfriend had come in for the boneless Thursdays discount. We had ordered 1 order of medium wings each. Initially we had ordered a small Asian zing and then a medium with Buffalo and garlic but had the waitress change it to 1 medium of each so we could get one, which was clearly clarified by her, and then the other be free. So, when we were brought our food they brought 2 medium Asian zing orders. And we were confused since we only ordered 1, and also my food wasn’t there. I asked the waitress and she basically said that since my girlfriend ordered them they give 1 free with the deal and we were totally confused by that since we had come there for the deal so we could each get one medium order. Then, a little while later I received 1 medium in garlic and 1 medium in buffalo which left us even more confused. So, then we talked to the waitress again and she didn’t really have much to say other then she’d talk to the manager since we had been saying we didn’t want to order probably about 50 wings between the two of us (we had 2 full boxes each left over). So she came back (the servers name was Laura) and tells us the manager said what he can do is void the 2 mediums and bill them as a large and a small in order to cover their cost which sounded appealing at this point so we agreed. Then, after we got the check, after reading it, I realized that the difference in the two was only 98 cents. So, I talked to the waitress again after she saw me just staring at the receipt for about 5 min questioning it and I told her so we’re only getting 98 cents off (35 for 2 mediums, 34 for small and large) for this essentially. To that, she tried to explain to us no that was not true and even tried showing me the menu and did the math for me only to have it also still be a 98 cent difference. At that point we both were just silent and I was holding my card and receipt so I really didn’t have much a choice but to pay for it. I really hope to hear back, this experience was awful. Our meal that was supposed to be less then $30 with an appetizer and waters plus the wings deal ended up being $41.57 not including tip. I have always loved Buffalo Wild Wings and have been going for years and never had anything like this happen. It’s total disrespect from the management as well as the waitress. It has me to the point where I may not consider even returning to Buffalo Wild Wings regardless of the location just because of this terrible experience even though I love eating there...

Short answer: took two hours to get our food just for it to be cold. We did not get compensated for our wait and the manager was arguing with me and my party.
Long answer: After my schools homecoming we decided to go to this b dubs. 6 of the 9 of us got there at 10:25. We had one waiter ask for our drinks to start off with, but we decided to not get them and wait for the rest of our party. After 10 minutes we decided to get our drink not knowing where the other 3 people were. At 10:40 our other 3 people arrived and we all ordered by 10:50. At this point there were two other big party tables from another homecoming that had just arrived as we ordered. After an hour passes we start questioning where our food it. The two other tables had already been served and were finishing their food. The waiter never came to check on us within this hour to refill our drinks or update us on the food. At this point we had to flag our waiter down and asked for the manager. When the manager shows up we ask him where our food is and why it has taken an hour. He tells us that the server did not put our order in. After 10 minutes our server finally comes to our table and tells us our food is being trayed. After 10 minutes 2 of our 9 party is brought their burgers. They both finish their food before the rest of us are even served. 40 minutes after the server came to us to tell our food was being trayed, they finally brought out our food. At this point it is 12:40 pm and we are all tired and just want to leave. The food we were given was cold and one of our orders was messed up. We then flagged down the waiter and had him send it back. After receiving our checks at 1 am we noticed that we had not been compensated for our wait and food. I asked the other waiter working if he could get the manager. When he showed up I asked why we did not get a discount or some compensation. To which he replied that the food took longer because of the other 2 tables, but they had been served within 30 minutes while were waiting for almost two hours. The manager then says “wait I thought it was one hour not two”, like what? Anyway he then starts to argue with us. Then one of my part members says “didn’t your waiter forget to put in our order?” And the manager immediately left. After receiving my new check which totaled to $21 and some change, but after the “compensation”, which was $5, or about %23, it was $16 and some change. After all we ended up arriving at 10:40 and left at 1:10. Will never...
Read moreThis was definitely the worst BWW experience I've ever had as a 6 year customer. The main gripe of this interview will be the quality of food.
We were seated today for happy hour and waited about 10 minutes before the server got to us because nobody notified her that we were one of her tables. We ordered apps and waited another 10 minutes before a small order of mozzarella sticks came, which did not have a cheese pull at all because they weren't hot enough. The server then left and didn't come back to check up. At the 40 minute mark after being seated, another server introduced herself because the 1st one had left for home without telling us about the switch (which was a first for me eating at a restaurant).
We then finally had the chance to order traditional wings extra crispy and wet. We waited another 20 minutes for them to come out and once they did, they were the driest, toughest, most tooth ravaging plate of cold wings I have ever had. They tasted and felt like rope twine...I'm not even joking here. If you look at the top wing in this picture, you can see individual dried out strands of chicken fibers. Our 2nd server apologized and took the wings back to be reheated. After waiting about 10 minutes, a new tray of wings came out barely warm and just as dry. Try as we did, we just couldn't stomach the cardboard. We let them know and the manager came out to speak to us.
Apparently, this location is their test location so they're constantly trying "new" things. One of those things (according to the manager) is cooking the wings, letting them cool, then frying them again to achieve a double fry. What I think is they're cutting corners and cooking all the wings at once. Then when someones orders, they'll fry again to reheat them. The manager didn't even seem to mind that much that our food was straight up dry, that it was just how their food is coming out with the new method now.
He did offer to have them remade for us, but I wasn't trusting the kitchen to send any better food and I wasn't waiting another 20 minutes just to eat for real. Regardless, we took the check and paid on half empty stomachs to just get out of there after staying almost 2 hours. I think only about 20 minutes of that was spent actually eating.
Do yourself a favor and go to the Bear location. According to the manager here, they don't do this new method...
