First and last time!!! No fault on the hair dresser however he could have been more respectful. Let’s start from beginning 1- called and made appointment specifically told receptionist hair is thick and curly wants someone who knows what they are doing and said I would be coming on lunch break was assured would be in and out within 30-45 minutes 2- arrived 5 minutes before appointment waited 12 minutes to get washed now if you have curly hair you know that best time to untangle hair is wet however here they wash hair than towel dry proceed to actually sit with stylist 3- stylist has hard time detangling my hair so I offer to do it no problem as he starts to blow dry I tell him that my hair get frizzy and tangle fast and I could tell the way he was doing it it wouldn’t work 4- he gets upset and says we’ll maybe you should do it your self at this point I should have left but no I’m a glutton for Disrespect and stayed he says I will flat iron hair and it will look better 5- as he is flat ironing hair I see that he is haphazardly jumping around again I ask why and his response is to say I should go to another person next time and that he doesn’t know how to deal with my kind of hair(duh! I can tell) So when I tell him I did request someone who did he tell me that I have insulted him. At this point I have been here an hour and a half. Fair to say I will not be going back ever nor would I recommend maybe if you have hair that was straight and dry straight it would work out besides that RUN!!! I don’t understand how a first time client is put with someone who lacks the knowledge to do specific hair type which was specified at beginning of process. I’m from out of town and had no idea where to go. I googled salons near me and this place came up with high reviews and Brian’s name kept coming up within the reviews so I booked with him. He is AMAZING!! I usually only go to Dominican hair salons because of the texture of my hair. It was dry from old bleach and one big mess. I showed Brian the picture of what I wanted and he ran with it adding his own twist leaving me feeling beautiful. It was the BEST hair cut I had in a long time. He’s pleasant to talk with, fast and efficient. This is my first review on google but he is worth every minute of it. Prices are also reasonable and the hospitality of the salon was great too. Best experience I have had getting my hair done and I will travel the two hours to come back. I recommend him and the salon to everyone looking...

Recently I visited the salon to get a highlight and a haircut. Brian, the stylist was a bit behind schedule and I had to leave on time. Well, he is truly a perfectionist in his technique and I know he felt rushed because I had to leave. He offered the option for me to come back within a few days at no additional charge. I followed through with his suggestion. He took his time and wanted the cut to be just right for me. I felt that his customer service and desire to please me with my haircut was so genuine.
