I said I was really JUST LOOKING when the salesperson approached me in the appliance dept. He was very nice nice, said Great. If you have Any questions at all, just ask, even tho you're just looking. Later I must have looked a bit confused looking at a couple if models. As he passed he from another person with questions, he stopped & asked if I was looking for something in particular? He said not all models are on the floor from each brand. I explained what I had in mind. He showed me what he had that was similar to what I described. He also explained a couple of features I had seen but didn't really understand, like the door with the window. I thought it just lit up to show what is inside the whole refrig. I didn't realise it was just the door that could be opened to.get food from just that area! Then he said I'll look online where I can find all that they make. Sure enough he looked & found it. He had me come around and look at all the info. Asked if I wanted a print out. He even looked up a delivery date if I went home and/or thought it over and decided I wanted it. He asked if I'd like to see any other models features. What a difference from the local hometown store we went to in May 2021, expecting to get that kind of service but instead got none of it. No samples to look at,.took our few requests... Size, water in door and drawer for drinks and snacks so whole refrigerator didn't need to open for 1 little thing. The person looked on line, picked one out, picked a color for us, said it was exactly what we wanted. We were surprised at lack of choices but Told it was because of CoVid. Told the price, and said it was cash or a check. My husband paid. Then Asked if we could at least see it. She printed it out. We looked closer when we got home & realized the extra drawer is a 2nd freezer, Not what we requested. We left them a message. Next day said we'd get a call back after the weekend. Nope! The wrong one was ordered, told what we wanted was not made, (we knew it was) or it would have to cost many thousands of $$ more and besides it was already delivered! We called, left many unanswered messages. Now when do we want it delivered? Never held up order or tried to get our request. This gentlman from Home Depot went out of his way to be helpful to someone.who already said they were only...

We bought a brand new Electrolux washer and dryer last September and ever since it’s been a nightmare!!! It’s broken multiple times and it takes over a month for them to send someone out to diagnose the issue. AFTER THAT they order parts and have them sent to your house THEN we have to call and schedule a repair man to come back out to fix it which both times has been at least another 3 weeks to a month to come out. We just had our dryer fixed last Friday after it breaking at the beginning of August and now we are on another week of no dryer.
OUR MACHINES HAVE BEEN BROKEN FOR 5/12 MONTHS WE’VE HAD THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can’t get through to the warranty company and the Christiana Home Depot won’t help up. Their appliance manager Shawn escalated it to the manufacturer and said they’d be in touch within 24-48 hours and after 4 days I finally got a hold of Shawn again who then finally checked his email to tell me the manufacturer just said “no” and that we have to go through the warranty company. I asked him if I could speak to his manager and he said I had to call 1-800-HOME-DEPOT which he claimed was the corporate office buts it’s just a robo answering service impossible to get to a human being through. After I figured that out I called the Christiana Home Depot again and asked me he girl who answered i could speak to the GM and she said he’s not there and when I asked his name she told me Bill Warner. I asked when would be a good time to reach him and she said “I don’t know, probably the earlier in the day the better... we don’t know our schedules ahead of time we get them daily” and hung up on me!
I’m sick over this! I have 2 two year olds and a seven year old plus 3 adults including myself at the house and we made an investment in these machines thinking we wouldn’t have a single issue going forward after replacing the old set and now we’re living in complete hell with no support from the Home Depot.
So here’s to another month+ without our $3k machines sold to us by Home Depot who obviously doesn’t care about customer service....

Moreover, based on my experience today, I will not be going back to store no longer. I did mention Valuable customer who buys all time. In addition, my worst situation was I asked cashier where is bathroom located? he told me in aile 9. I used bathroom came out of store, suddenly undercover security guard from Home depot approached me Harrassed, and intimidated me. Who told me first question was" Is every ok, is every ok, kept saying in a nasty tone..I told him why are you following me asking me that? in parking lot. " what have I done?. He stated someone claims I have assaulted someone. With this in mind, I was wrongfully profiled. Did you check cameras, way he was talking to me very aggressive. Hence, I decided to go back in store, asked for store manager.
With out any hesitation, manager came every one kept looking at me like..... Then i explain my situation how I was mistakenly, profiled they were looking for someone in same clothes I looked like person. This is absurd!. decent young woman clean records educated and so forth. You are identifying me as someone who assaulted person. Finally, store manager Roberto resolved situation. Told me he is going to have a talk with undercover security at home depot who harrassed me. His approach was very unacceptable. I was wrongfully accused Valuable customer like that. I was very upset I hope CEO of home depot investigates security guard who accused me wrongfully. I was very,very furious .Next time, management should take initiative of reviewing cameras. Wrongfully profiling minority woman like me who wore similar clothing like accuser. "Defamation of character ".
