I called to order flowers from the Pike Creek Flower and Gift Shop for a Saturday pick up for my mother-in-lawās 90th birthday. They make beautiful arrangements. When I called them on a Friday, the wonderful lady I spoke with said that they are not open on Saturdays and referred me to their branch at Christiana in Newark. I ordered a beautiful arrangement shown on their website. I told Una the name of the arrangement and the flowers in it. I also requested for vibrant spring colors. I paid for a medium size arrangement which was not cheap. I was so disappointed when I picked up the flowers. There were carnations in them which made it look cheap....they were not included in the picture from their website. The flowers were not fresh, the one small lily was beat up, and the combination of colors were sad looking. I asked Una to replace the carnations with gerber daisies, she replaced with three. It still did not make any difference with how the arrangement and the flowers lookedāhorrible!
I could have bought an arrangement from Whole Foods market and it would have looked beautiful, with exotic, vibrant, and fresh flowers! Much cheaper as well. Never again will I use...

The issue lies with the online websites not communicating with flower shops based on inventory. Do not order online. Call directly, the flowers the make here actually do look very nice if ordered directly.
I ordered two large red poinsettias online from a middleman company called Teraflora. Christiana Flower and Gift Shopp took on this request.
I received a white poinsettia that actually looks pretty nice except that it is not red. I also received a lopsided tall red poinsettia with some sort of discoloration/rot on most of the leaves. To top it off the name on the red plant was spelled wrong. No worries, they wrote over the first two letters of the name with pen.
I am too embarassed to give these flowers to the people I purchased them for. I imagine the owner of this business would be embarassed for the practices of the employee that was in charge of my arrangements.
I will return the flowers today to try and remediate the problem. I will report back...

I was given this number by the security desk at my place of employment after the delivery person for this company left. It was a total of 14 minutes from the security associate at my job reached out to me and I reached out saying I am on my way. I did reach out once prior to me telling them I was on my way. I was told the delivery person cant stand wait for 30 minutes. Well dont deliver to a business being people are working and not everyone can walk away from what they are doing. This company works with 1800flowers as well. I will no longer be doing business with them either. Whatever happened to companies trying to keep a customer. Keeping a customer happy. I work hard for my money and I want to be treated like I matter to a company. I will be telling my family as well not to did business with these 2 companies along with...
