I was totally unhappy with my service and after several months of no response following my experience and in spite of submitting the form back of my experience, no one has contacted me to date. I have made several attempts to resolve this matter, directly with management at this location., however , my complaints have fell on deaf ears. My latest attempt was simply ignored after telling me they would look into the matter and get back to me the next day.. As a result, I am opting to do this review of my experience. Firstly, when we arrived for our appointment and sat in the pedicure chairs, we were not offered a drink and did not receive one until the end of our service when I mentioned it to them, guessing they were just going to simply do the entire service without providing us with our drink. Also, the pedicure was subpar at best. When I get a pedicure, I don’t like to have to keep telling the tech how to complete the pedicure and work on certain areas of my feet as they should be experienced in this and know on their own. However, we had to continuously tell them the areas to get and the areas that needed to be worked on more. Even though we did purchase one of the highest pedicure options, as a customer, you shouldn’t have to purchase those in order for a tech to do a good job and that is totally unacceptable to me. The gel manicure was also subpar and I had to continuously tell him to correct the shape and the gel polish. Before I even left their location, they sent me a survey of my experience, as I was coming far for this appointment, I completed the survey on my way back home, thinking and hoping someone would get back to me within the week, as there was no one in management available during my appointment. I explained in great detail the issues I experienced, the lack of customer service and the lack of knowledge of the services I was getting and, however no one ever bothered to reach back out to me. What is the point of sending a form asking about a customer’s experience as if you care and then do absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. As I didn’t immediately hear back from them after I filled out this form, I gave them additional time to respond to no avail. I then reached back out to them regarding this matter. I was told that management would look into it and get back to me the next day, so I waited. I wish I could say I was surprised, but I wasn’t when no one got back to me once again. I just want to make other customers aware to be cautious when having services done here and looking for a top-tier experience because this place will not...

I’ve been here before years ago with my mother but stopped going after one lady did my mothers nails and my mom wasn’t happy so they started arguing, after that it was time for me to get my brows waxed and i guess the lady was mad at my mom and so she took it out on me and ripped the wax off so hard that she literally pulled of the top layer of my skin. Earlier this week I went with a friend to get our nails done because this is the salon my friend goes to and i don’t get my nails done often so i don’t know of many places also i figured they wouldn’t remember me because the first situation happened years ago. What do you know, I got the same lady. She started with cutting my nails and buffing them but then stopped and told me to go pay before she painted my nails (which i have never heard before, i don’t get my nails done but often go with my mother so she has company and i can get my eyebrows waxed afterwards). I went back and forth with her a couple times and then finally went up to the front to act like I was going to pay but really just went up so that I could have a translator so that I understood what it was that she wanted me to do. He then said that she wanted me to pay before she painted my nails so that I wouldn’t mess up my nails after getting them painted (i was getting regular polish) i then told him that it only made sense to pay if i had to shuffle through my purse to get my card and told him i was paying with my phone (which i had already told her but she still insisted that i payed before she painted my nails) after she painted them she kept saying ā€œbe careful be carefulā€ in a way that seemed like she was trying to make me feel bad for not paying beforehand. My nails come out of the dryer and she touches one to see if they were fully dry and she said i was good to go. Once I got in the car and the sunlight hit my nails, I realized that the nail she had touched had a finger print on it… funny how you told me to be careful but ended up being the one to ruin my nail.

Edit because they responded to my review. Like I said i’ve come here before years ago and this was the first time i’ve ever heard of paying first. My mother only gets gel on her toes and gets regular polish on her fingernails because she doesn’t like how thick gel can be on her nails. So yes I’ve been here before, no I have never heard of paying before getting my nails painted, and my mother has never been told to pay beforehand. Crazy how you didn’t mention in your reply the fact that YOUR tech messed up MY manicure by touching it when it...

Very disappointing visit to TLZ yesterday. I don't usually come on the weekend so it may be the normal chaos for them, but I was taken aback and felt like I was pushed through my appointment. To start, I had recently booked twice online for a particular nail tech, Ras, on a weeknight, and when I got there, both times I was told she not working or did not work on that day. No one had called or texted giving me the option to reschedule, so since I was already there I went with someone else. This time, I called to confirm that she was in fact working at the time of my appt and was told yes. I was scheduled for a powder dip manicure and a pedicure. I got there for my appointment and picked out my colors. There was a young man (teenager) checking people in and directing them to stations, etc. He was running and sliding on the tile floor, and throwing the sink liners up in the air like pizzas. I was put in a pedi chair to wait, and another tech started to remove my nail color. I asked why Ras wasn't doing it and she said she was with another client. I said I would wait for her, and she came over and apologized that they had double booked her. When I said I was waiting for her to do my dip manicure and pedi, she said she DIDN'T DO dip nails. What??? Why was I able to book online with her for that service, and why did no one tell me? So I had to go with another tech, Ann I think, for my manicure, which I felt totally rushed through. There was no trimming of my cuticles or shaping my nails. When I pointed out the crooked nails when I was paying, she got a nail file and tried to fix it at the front desk! I ended up filing them down at home, and am hoping they don't chip or peel. I did end up having my pedicure with Ras, which was the only good thing about this visit. The icing on the cake was when I checked out, I said I was paying by Venmo, and the young man tried to charge me the credit card prices. I wouldn't have minded that their prices have gone up since I was there a month ago if I would have received good service, but I left feeling like it's time to find...

I’ve been a loyal customer of TLZ for years, but after my recent experience, I will never return. I received a VIP pedicure that resulted in a painful infection and ultimately required part of my toenail to be surgically removed. I had booked with a specific technician, but after waiting for over 20 minutes, I was told he wasn’t available. I reluctantly agreed to proceed with someone else. During the pedicure, the technician cut deep into the corner of my toenail and yanked something out. I felt it tear my skin, but stayed quiet. It was immediately painful to walk and touch and within days, the area also became red, and swollen with discharge. A podiatrist confirmed it was an infection caused by the pedicure and started me on antibiotics. When it didn’t fully resolve, I had to undergo a minor surgical procedure to remove part of the toenail due to the improper cutting that led to an ingrown toenail. I contacted the salon days after my appointment telling them what happened and they said a manager would call me. They never did. I called again a week later and spoke with a manager who was dismissive from the start. He denied any responsibility, pointed to their no-refund policy, and only offered a partial credit after I pressed him. Eventually, he issued a credit for the full pedicure, but made it clear he didn’t believe the salon was at fault. He claimed I had an existing ingrown toenail, which is false. After my procedure, I followed up again demanding a refund since I decided I was no longer a customer of theirs. I was ignored for days before being told—once more—that they refused to take accountability, claiming ingrown toenails ā€œhappen naturally.ā€ This experience was not only painful and costly but made worse by the salon’s refusal to acknowledge the harm caused. I’m extremely disappointed in how they handled this situation. Their lack of professionalism and care for long-time customers speaks volumes. I will never return, and I urge others to think twice before trusting their health to this salon.

Edited after owners response: The way the owner has responded to any negative review left by a customer should show you the type of ownership the salon has. Three months ago I decided to give this place a chance after reading google reviews on the service. Unfortunately I had one of the worst experiences with a gel mani and pedi. The nail technician was extremely rough leaving bruises on my legs as well was accidentally spilling an oil on my new pair of shoes. I immediately called the salon manager which I was instructed to leave a message for the owner. After a couple days of not hearing back, I decided to call again. The salon manager again instructed me to wait for the owner to personally call me. A week went by and nothing. After calling the salon again, the manager gave me the owners number. In which I have been in contact with for the last three months with little to no reply on the situation. After multiple calls on my part, the owner gave me the reply that his salon cannot take responsibility for what happened while my service was being completed. Avoid this salon at all cost as damage can be done to your personal belongings.

First time here. I only came because it was intriguing to see customers appreciated with a drink. My nail tech never even offered water. I checked in around 4pm, I did not leave until 6pm. That's 2 hrs, I asked him how does it go here? This is my first time. Do customers pay for beverages? He said "you don't pay" and finally asked "do you want something?" By this time I've been here and hour, I honestly don't want it now. I listened and watched how other customers are being offered something to drink the moment they sit or after choosing a color. I'm here after work, in uniform and figured it would be a new experience, some place i can make my go to spot. If he would have offered me a drink before I asked, I would have gotten my feet done. I seen this place on IG and wanted the experience that the girl who recorded her experience had. It should be mandatory that a customer is asked the moment they take a seat. He made the establishment lose out on more money and a larger tip. I paid over 150 dollars, do better.
