I’m a pretty big foodie and don’t leave reviews unless things go terribly wrong. But this place was absolutely amazing. I’ve been wanting to try it for some time and seen a bunch of their plates on Uber eats were buy one get one! Highly recommend jumping on that if it’s still available! I ordered the sampler with coco shrimp and the sweet n spicy. Both are a traditional coconut shrimp with the sweet and spicy having a sauce applied to the shrimp. I did find the coco shrimp better since the flavor and sweetness shined through more, the sweet and spicy was a little much and seemed to take away from the shrimp. This shrimp were so good I didn’t mind at all that the crunchy exterior was soggy, that says a lot. But after all it’s what happens when you usually get fried food delivered. The shrimp was so good I was legit considering eating the tails! When you usually order shrimp and see six, you think it’s going to be a rather small portion but the shrimp were rather large….probably around u16-u20. The portion of rice is huge as well. I highly recommend the poppy seed dressing for the salad rice and shrimp. I found it to be superior to the ginger dressing. I also added the pineapple which compliments everything nicely. Even the damn cucumbers in the salad were amazing, I legit haven’t been so excited after takeout in a long time. It was so good I gave my second plate to my roomates to see how good it was for themselves and they all agreed we will be checking this place out in person! Everything on the plate tasted so fresh and although it’s a rather large portion, you don’t feel uncomfortable after eating it. I truly can’t say enough about this food. I’m sure it will be even better when I get it in person! Keep it up! My picture doesn’t do it the justice it deserves!

I'm kamaaina. If you know, then I know you know I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Hawaiian food. For those who don't - kamaaina literally translates to "from the island", which is a term used to refer to anyone living in Hawai'i. There has seemingly been a trend on the mainland in recent years with restaurants trying to cash in on the Hawai'i hype train. Some do it bad, some do it good. If you picked me up and dropped me inside this place and told me that I had to guess where I was, I'd say Hawai'i. Everything about this place is painstakingly accurate. The decor is accurate - they have surf boards, broken boards, dark wood, surf videos on TVs, etc. The music is accurate which is what really surprised me because you simply don't play these songs or evergreen know of them without having actually lived in Hawai'i. Which the founders did, they lived on the North Shore in college. Food of phenomenal, debatably better than some of the Kahuku food trucks. Don't sleep on the salad - they call it a poppy dressing but I'm pretty sure papaya is in there. Papaya seed dressing is life changing anywhere you get it. I highly recommend it. Very impressed with Coco Shrimp - felt like home. It's extremely difficult to nail a vibe, especially an accurate Hawai'i vibe, and this placed nailed it. Now just offer 10% kamaaina discount when presenting Hawai'i drivers license :)

I knew this place was gonna be good just by the photos, but I was even more impressed when I was eating. We got two samplers so we could try every shrimp option. Each one was cooked perfectly, not even kidding. The standard coco fried shrimp was yummy, especially if you like the hint of sweetness. My favorite fried one was the spicy option; it reminded me of eating a fried shrimp sushi roll. Although it had sauce all on it, it was still deliciously crispy & juicy inside. The lemon butter was so buttery & the sauce was all in the rice below. The rice & salad were actually quite good on their own - flavor wise. My partner really liked the sweet/salty? one. & I can't remember the last shrimp prep but it was also very good. Their salad dressing were yummmmm. The green w poppy seeds had a very melony flavor, & the other ginger one I liked as well. Everything was very fresh, & the serving size was well balanced/more than enough for me. Nice atmosphere, clean bathrooms, and kind service by the manager Robbie. Definitely will be back again!

This is my 2nd time eating at this place and getting sick. I eat at the heritage parkway location and have never got sick. The 1st time I ate here and got sick I felt bad for 3days couldn’t eat anything but bread and soup. I wasn’t a 100% sure it was because their food because I had Whataburger that morning. Then today I said let me try this location again. I ate half my food in the car before leaving. I started to take a few more bites while I’m traffic. By time I made it 20mins from this location I start feeling nauseous. Then I started gagging and vomiting where I had to pull over. I was vomiting for 10 minutes before I could actually catch my breath. I called the store to let them know and was told that I couldn’t have got sick by them because it takes 24hrs. That’s us incorrect when you get seafood poisoning from shellfish you can experience symptoms within 30-60minutes. They did not care. I’m typing this review while in the emergency room because I’m so weak from vomiting and diarrhea due to eating at this location. These are the same symptoms I experienced the first time I ate at...
