T.J. Maxx — Local services in Denton

Nice store in terms of cleanliness but if you like collecting cute hello kitty stuff forget this store the employees take the ALL of the hello kitty items before they’re even on the floor. An employee admitted that the girls did that with the Halloween blankets and when I stopped by at open (so newly stocked no one else should’ve gotten them) they had the other Christmas blankets that come in the box freshly stocked but no hello kitty. They never put it on the floor either bc there wasn’t even a spot for it it was like it was never there. Company policy is you have to be on break and it has to be on the floor but this store doesn’t follow that at all. I could understand if it was maybe one blanket but there’s like 7 blankets that should’ve been out on the floor and not one made it. It’s unfair to customers who are nice and go out of their way to look for it. The blankets sell for insane and most people don’t want to buy from greedy people just because we like collecting, how are we supposed to know whether employees just resell them?

really wish management cracked down on policy because it doesn’t make customers want to come when you know the employees take the good items.

I should also add that one of the employees was super nice and even went to the back to get an older woman a throw blanket she was looking for but as soon as I asked about hello kitty she shut me down and said “they’re gone” no sorry no checking the back or anything and she wasn’t nice to me like with...

If I could give this crappy store zero stars I would. First the white girls working the evening shift were completely rude, racist, and very unprofessional. My family and my self walked in to this store to shop of course, mind you we are all MEXICAN FEMALES. The moment we walked in they were watching our every move, could even shop in peace in a store we enjoyed coming to because they were quick to assume we were there to steal merchandise. The girls working there kept making loud enough comments for us to hear what they were saying about us , bashing us as if we were there to steal when all we were trying to do was shop. One of the comments a white girl made when my sister confronted her was that it just looked suspicious because the moment we walked in we all spread out and went different directions. well obviously you dumbass we all have different taste and 2 were all shopping for different items, while being confronted all she could do was laugh and giggle and smirk . I just feel like they could of confronted us instead of making us feel awkward like we were criminals just because were Hispanic . NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME TO THIS STORE , WE WILL NOT BE SPENDING OUT HARD EARNED MONEY HERE. if I ever do return they will get a piece of my mind...

Great place to find quality items at a bargain! Most items are marked down 50-60% off the original price. TJ Maxx is nestled in a shopping center where you will find a variety of places to shop and eat. TJ Maxx is currently remodeling their dressing room area hence the 4 stars. Other then that this place has clothes for the entire family with a bigger selection of jewelry and watches. An assortment of shoes and household items. My wife loves the items on sale which makes it easy to purchase multiple quality items without the huge dent in my pocketbook. The facility is clean and they do have public restrooms. Most of the employees are young college or high school students but are very helpful and know the store. I'll add photos later soo......
