Wing Pit — Restaurant in Denton

On my 1st visit I would have gave you 4 stars...... but my visit today, was an overall negative experience Simply because it was the two owners who lacked good customer service. I CAN NOT MAKE THIS REVIEW SHORT I placed the order for the #1 mild 10 pc add 5 garlic parm shrimp. I advised him I’m going up the street to get my son something to eat and coming back so I don’t have to just wait. I get back and my food is not ready....(15 min I was gone) I ask the lady if they have any extra wings cooked because I’d like to add an order. They said yes, all flats 👌🏽Cool! i pointed at the #1 meal and she rNg everything up individually! When I told her I wanted the meal she got a little snippy and said I needed to specify! 10 min go by, I saw them drop an order of fries, they chat back and forth, then ask me what my initial order was 😳.... I repeat it, it hadn’t even been made. They finally bring the order out and I’m missing fries, he takes the whole order back just to get me another order of fries. It also had no sauce on the wings!!!!!! 😩 I pulled off, I didn’t even get my drink! Ughhhh. I called to explain what all went wrong on the visit prior to writing my review. They were too busy to talk. I didn’t make a big deal while I was there because it was other customers so I felt it better...

I traveled from out of state for a conference in Grapevine, and after a long day of interacting with too many people I just wanted to order some wings off UberEats and hide in my hotel room. I got the lemon pepper wings, potato salad and chocolate hazelnut cake. Everything was SO good! The wings were very crispy, the potato salad was good, but I think the star of the show was the cake! It was probably the best cake I think I’ve ever had. It had a layer of light, fluffy chocolate cake and a layer of hazelnut mousse with a raspberry drizzle. I could go on all day about this cake!

I do have a small complaint…on the UberEats app it seemed to be a requirement that I had to purchase two containers of dressing. I don’t normally eat my wings with dressing, so I was a little frustrated that I had to do that. I would really have preferred to have the option not to do that. Overall the food was awesome in my opinion, so this issue didn’t really take...

Wife and I decided to check this place out after a day of shopping. When we walked in there was only one table in the shop. We were greeted immediately by the nice dude running the counter. We took a minute to glance over the wall mounted menu board and we needed up getting the spicy honey bbq wings and the Thai Chili with ranch fries and Cajun fries. Both wings were absolutely amazing, the Thai were a little sweet for me but my wife actually really enjoyed them. The spicy honey bbq was my favorite! The ranch is good, a little on the strong side but delicious. The ranch fries were absolutely amazing, cooked perfectly and we'll seasoned, compliments the wings well. Cajun fries were ok, they didn't seem to add much flavor but again they were cooked to perfection! Both the guy cooking (maybe the owner?)
