We arrived around 8:30 on a Sunday night. They close at 9:00. While the food was pretty good, my complaint is that they let us order and get seated, then started getting ready to close. They began putting things up from the salad bar before my wife and cousin even started making their salads. We had to ask them to put things back out. At 8:45, they began dumping the tea. I asked them to wait until I could get refills, but they continued. I asked for another cup so I could refill my cup when we left. They brought me a small water cup that wouldn't even fill the cup I had my tea in. I asked for another one and the manager said he would have to charge me. Wait a minute! I just paid $1.99 for a tea with unlimited refills and now you want to pour out the tea before I can get a refill, or you'll charge me? Charge me for tea that you're pouring down the drain? I just paid $25 for our meal and you want to charge me for a tea refill? Really? What happened to customer service? I asked the manager if he could just wait until they close before they poured out the tea. Give your customers a chance to get a refill. Wait until your customers leave. Didn't happen. By the way, we were finished eating and left at 8:55, 5 minutes before their closing time, without a refill.
Ok, we tried it again and YES, the problems have been corrected. Melissa Silva responded to my review and said the situation was rectified, and I agree with her. There were no issues when I returned. Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I attempted to eat here the other day. We were greeted by a store employee named Mason at the door, he noticed my lawfully carried firearm, and asked me if I was a police officer, to which I answered "no", he then told me that I couldn't bring my firearm into the restaurant. I did not notice any of the signage posted on the windows out front, as is customary in these situations, but in the interest of not creating a scene, i returned my family and weapon to our vehicle. I then returned to the store to obtain the contact information for their corporate office so that I could file a complaint. Mason greeted me again, and said "don't worry about the contact information, we will take care of it", not exactly sure what he meant, but I then demanded to speak to a manager. The manager comes out, and is very polite. during our conversation, I identify myself as a paramedic/first responder, and Mason overhears this and makes the comment "do you have to shoot people to be a paramedic". This catches the managers attention and she asks Mason to leave the area. Not exactly the experience I was looking for at a professional business. The manager points out the legally required signage, that is posted at a separate, non-main entrance. I will not spend money at business that limit my constitutional rights to protect myself and my family from harm. We found a nice salad place in Denton after we left here, I suggest you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas eating in Jasonās Deli with my son when he looked down and noticed that I was about to eat a HUGE bug that was in my salad. I was so grossed out and upset that I had my son take the salad to the staff. I then approached the cashier and asked for the manager. When the manager came over he made excuses and said there was nothing he could do about it⦠that bugs fly in from outside all the time. They refunded me for my salad but didnāt even bother refunding the entire check even though my sons appetite was ruined. I contacted the owner of the restaurant and she acted uninterested and like it was no big deal even though it was a big deal to my son and I and very unsettling. Due to the lack of professionalism and the fact that the manager made excuses I cannot trust this restaurant any longer and wonāt be going back. I used to eat there with my sons weekly so they have lost customers. On the same night the workers were sweeping and spraying chemicals within a foot of where my son and I were sitting and we could smell the spray and see the debris flying around. This is not a very clean restaurant and I am certain that the 1-1/2 inch bug came from the...
