My family and I moved from Puerto Rico 11 years ago, and out of all the places we've visited since, Miss Angeline's is by far my favorite spot in Texas. I come here at least 3ā4 times a mont, sometimes with friends, but mostly with my husband. Every time I walk in, I feel genuinely welcomed. Itās one of the only places that truly feels like home.
Funny enough, I was the one who introduced my husband to this place, and now heās the one saying, āLetās go to Angelineās!ā Thatās how special it is to both of us.
My go-to drinks are the Sweet Carolime and the Amaretto Sourāboth amazing! But what really makes this place stand out is the people. The bartenders have such a great vibeātheir energy, their style, their personalitiesāit all just adds to the magic of being here.
I can honestly see myself coming to Miss Angelineās for years to comeāon birthdays, with future grandkids, or just on a random night out. No other place since moving from Puerto Rico has made me feel this good. Thank you to the owner for creating such a welcoming, joyful, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is great. They went the extra mile with the renovation of this building. Little details like the decor, beautiful finishings at the bar, plentiful seating, and extra outlets surrounding the outside, make Miss Angelineās a comfortable and enjoyable place to hang out. But what really drew me in was the selection of mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. As someone who hasnāt drank in almost a decade, but loves to hang out at the bars with my friends, I always appreciate when a bar has more than just Topo Chico and soda. With two kombuchas, three SoCo ginger beers, and a nice few mocktail options, I was more than happy with the number of choices. Only a few places in town offer kombucha, and Iām glad to have another local business to visit where I can get my fix. I also especially enjoyed the SoCo blueberry ginger beer. If anyone from Miss Angelineās reads this...thank you so much for taking the time to cultivate a liāl...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAutumn did a great job at not only confusing us but making us uncomfortable. I came in with my roommate on 1/25 around 6:00 PM. to get a cocktail after we had just had a shot each next door at Eastside. I don't come to this area often, but my roommate does frequently. He has a paper ID, which Denton County Brewing and Eastside both accepted with no problem. After Autumn handed my ID back to me and his temporary paper ID back to him, I asked her what her name was out of courtesy, so when she finished, I could thank her properly. At this point, she was already halfway done finishing our drinks, but I get a blank stare, and she hesitates as if she doesn't even know her own name, and she finally says Autumn. She makes us feel more awkward and stares longer then stops what she is doing, rushes somewhere then comes back to tell us she is sorry that the temporary ID isn't going to be acceptable with no other...
