For a quick Togo or a simple sit down, get full. This is it. The establishment was clean, easy to navigate, and smelled wonderful. You're immediately greeted with a huge smile and an eagerness that already makes you feel welcome. I scanned the menu and decided to go with the Chefs choice platter, which came with 3 falafel balls, hummus, 2 wraps, and a sauce. I chose the chicken with the tahini. The chicken wrap was delightful, with a slight amount of sauce, pickle, and chicken. As simple as the wrap was the flavors married so well together that t didn't even need a sauce in my personal opinion. The hummus was creamy with a bit of added oil and olive, and the falafel wasn't super dense or dry with a hint of spice. This meal comes in a portion size that I had enough for dinner as well. As a dessert, I grabbed a little cup of baklava. Each piece was a perfect bite, not too sticky, not to dry. I will start by saying that the food itself is super good. Very fresh, and very well seasoned. Plus the people who work here are just lovely. Friendly and helpful. A plus service.

My issue is with the price. I eat at Halal Guys almost weekly since they are close to where I work in Dallas. Problem is I live out here and if I try to bring food home it’s cold by the time I get home. Saw this place at the shopping strip by Albertsons and figured I’d give it a try. And again, the food itself is excellent! It’s just that at Halal guys you get twice as much food for the same price. This place has very small portions for the prices they are charging. So I’m going to stick with the Halal Guys.

I will say this place has better falafels than Halal Guys, and they offer a very taste lentil soup that the other place doesn’t. It’s just paying $5 for literally a CUP of soup is a bit too much for me.

Great food, but sadly prices and portions do not...

Shawarma Press in Denton is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Mediterranean food in the area! From the moment you walk in, the welcoming staff and clean, modern atmosphere set the tone for a great dining experience.

We tried the Over Fries, Chef's Choice, customers Favorite, Tandoori Press Shawarma, and Beef Shawarma wrap and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned, tender, and wrapped in warm, fresh pita. The chicken shawarma is also a standout, juicy and full of flavor. Their Hummus and garlic sauce? Next level.

The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you’re getting. Sides like hummus and falafel are fresh and made just right — crispy outside, soft inside.
